THE CHOICE HAS BEEN MADE! Top Specialty Food of the Year 2017
As you know, each year I name a Top Specialty Food of the Year. Last year our Top Specialty Food of the Year 2016 was Dave’s Killer Bread–Good Seed Bread. Now, they don’t know who I am and have never sent me anything. I just discovered Dave’s Good Seed bread on my own at my local Sam’s club. Sesame Kingdom Mediterranean Spread –Flavored Sesame Seed Spreads. Words cannot describe the addictiveness of these spreads. Review
Bobo Bars & Bobo Bite Oatmeal Bars in a variety of Flavors. Walt went nuts for these bars. Review
Wild Planet Foods — Some of the many Wild Planet’s sustainable caught products available include: Wild Sardines, Wild Albacore, Wild Mackeral fillets. A wonderful solution for vacation eating or as a salad topper. Review

Sesame Kingdom Mediterranean Spread
I think I knew my winner all along…
The base of the spreads is organic sesame seeds that is slowly ground in stone wheels for hours, with dates, carob, figs and beets. These spreads are vegan, paleo, and don’t contain any gluten, preservatives, dairy, nuts or added sugar. They are an incredible substitute for peanut butter. I love all the varieties that I have tried and I am sure I would enjoy them all! Flavors include:

Trader Joe’s Everything but the Bagel Sesame Seasoning Blend ~ I would love to try this! I know it’s got sea salt in it, and I’m trying to cut down on sodium, but I think this would be great to try on so many things! : ) I love everything bagels because of the seasoning.
I’d love to try Lily’s Dark Chocolate Chips, because who doesn’t love a good chocolate chip cookie? 🙂
I am loving the Stacy’s Simply Naked Pita Chips because they’re the perfect accompaniment to my famous buffalo chicken dip.
Planters Deluxe Mixed Nuts is my favorite. Great snack that doesn’t include refined sugar and doesn’t include peanuts. Who wants those in mixed nuts?

I like the Nespresso Variety Pack. The coffee tastes great and I love having a selection of flavors to choose from.

I’d like to try Lily’s Dark Chocolate Chips. When I was young, I hated dark chocolate but now I love it. I like to keep these on hand for tossing in pancakes or sometimes I will sprinkle a few on a peanut butter sandwich.
I would like to try the Stacy simply naked pita chips because I think they would taste great with hummus.
