Jennifer Lopez & Marc Anthony for Kohl’s
Purple for Valentines!
Kohl’s provided Walt and I outfits for Valentine’s Day. Our focus was purple from Marc Anthony and Jennifer Lopez! The Chief Blonde is wearing a (similar, Kohls), ($44, Kohls, also comes in black, white, and denim + lengths of avg, short and tall), jewelry is Chief Blonde’s mother’s ( ), and Nine West purple pumps (). Walt is wearing Marc Anthony purple silk tie ($40, Kohls), (Kohls) and his own belt, pants and shoes.
Walt and I go to church with my dad every other month or so. It’s pretty fun because it’s the church I grew up in. All my old Sunday school teachers come up to me and give me hugs. My dad has a group of widowers he hangs out with and Walt and I have got to know them pretty well. We swap stories with the group during coffee hour and eat donuts. After church, we usually go out to eat with my dad.
Quite often, we hoodwink my dad into taking pictures for us. On this day, it was quite cold out, so we slipped out onto my dad’s front porch, took 20 quick photos and hoped for the best!
You really can’t go wrong for any occasion with Kohl’s. I often buy the Jennifer Lopez brand, and Walt selects from Kohl’s tall brands. For this outfit post, to coordinate with my Jennifer Lopez pants and Dana Buchman top, he got a Marc Anthony tie in purple. Don’t you love it?
As you know Walt is 6’6″ and it’s very expensive to buy men’s tall shirts from most stores. However, this Croft and Barrow shirt from Kohl’s was a great buy and Walt has already worn it 3 times. Isn’t he the most handsome guy ever?
We usually go out for Valentine’s Day and give each other mushy cards. This year we decided to focus our clothing around purple because it’s the color of passion and royalty. Fits us pretty well I’d say!
I adore these purple Jennifer Lopez ankle jeans, I am pretty sure I will buy the white and the black ones as soon as I get a 30% off coupon code again. They fit like a dream. I am sure they will look good with sandals, flats, boots or whatever I pair them with. Also, the zippers at the ankle are RAWR!
While pulling our outfits together, I found this very different and oh-s0-me top from Dana Buchman (another Kohl’s line). I love how the purple coordinates perfectly with my Jennifer Lopez purple jeans.
As my mother always favored purple (she was true royalty and deserved to wear purple), she had a lot of purple necklaces. I wore two of her favorites with this outfit to complete the look.

Well, it doesn’t look like the J. Lo collection has anything for men, so I’m not sure how to answer the mandatory question in the Rafflecopter form. I guess I could just list my favorite. 🙂
I think the Jennifer Lopez Bohemian Peasant Top is very pretty. I like how it has an air of casualness, and the cyan color scheme is very chic.

I love “Women’s Jennifer Lopez Peasant Dress in fuchsia” because it seems to flow beautifully and I like the V neck so it doesn’t make me look top heavy
There are so many great pieces to choose from, but I have to say that I really like the “Plus Size Jennifer Lopez Crewneck Shirred Trapeze Top” in black. I am busty and feel like it wouldn’t make me feel uncomfortable. It has a rhinestone neckline, which adds a little bit of sparkle, but is a classic piece. You could add a cute dressy sweater of any colors to it or jazz it up with accessories in a fun color.

I am a shoe girl. I love the Jennifer Lopez Women’s Rhinestone Peep-Toe Dress Heels. These look like they would work well with dress pants, jeans, or a dress.
Love the Jennifer Lopez Kimono Cold Shoulder top. The style looks comfortable, but stylish.
Love the peasant dress in fuschia. The length would work for me since I’m taller and I just love the color.

I ENJOYED LOOKING AT THE FASHIONS FROM MIDDLE AGE MODELS. THE USE OF THE PURPLE COLOR REMINDS ME OF ELIZABETH TAYLOR AND HER PERFUME “PASSION” WHICH REPRESENTED THE PURPLE ROYALTY THEME. I WOULD LIKE TO CONSIDER THE JENNIFER LOPEZ LINE.

I love J. Lo’s clothing line at Kohl’s, already have a couple shirts! I’m in the market for ankle boots, so I’d get the Jennifer Lopez Women’s Studded Ankle Booties. Hubby and I live in Nashville, so I plan to wear these boots to go out on Broadway and see some live music for Valentine’s.

I do love the photos that have Walt in them – first of all, he always looks like he’s having fun, so that is great, and secondly, my husband also wears Big and Tall sizes, so I get some ideas…..and I agree! Croft and Barrow shirts are the best!

I really like the Pointelle Fit and Flare Dress in Heaven Blue! How cute, and you could put a cardigan over it and wear it in the colder weather too. We are going to my husband’s old church (his mom still goes there) on Valentines Day – it’s their sausage supper! It may not be super romantic, but there will be great food, and we’ll see a lot of old friends, so that will be fun. No doubt I will wear a pair of jeans and some kind of red top.
I would wear Jennifer Lopez’s Skinny Ankle Jeans in the Healio Blue color because I love the zipper feature!! I would pair it with Jennifer Lopez’s Drop-Shoulder V-Neck Sweater in the Marshmallow color-I just love how it looks on the model!! I would also wear Jennifer Lopez’s Faux-Leather Moto Jacket in the Marshmallow color!! As for shoes, I’d rock Jennifer Lopez’s Caged Dress Heels in the Champagne color-SO CUTE!! And to top off my look, Jennifer Lopez’s Chain Link Lisbeth Shopper Bag in the Petal color. I think this would make the PERFECT Valentine’s Day outfit!!
