Jennifer Lopez & Marc Anthony for Kohl’s
Purple for Valentines!
Kohl’s provided Walt and I outfits for Valentine’s Day. Our focus was purple from Marc Anthony and Jennifer Lopez! The Chief Blonde is wearing a (similar, Kohls), ($44, Kohls, also comes in black, white, and denim + lengths of avg, short and tall), jewelry is Chief Blonde’s mother’s ( ), and Nine West purple pumps (). Walt is wearing Marc Anthony purple silk tie ($40, Kohls), (Kohls) and his own belt, pants and shoes.
Walt and I go to church with my dad every other month or so. It’s pretty fun because it’s the church I grew up in. All my old Sunday school teachers come up to me and give me hugs. My dad has a group of widowers he hangs out with and Walt and I have got to know them pretty well. We swap stories with the group during coffee hour and eat donuts. After church, we usually go out to eat with my dad.
Quite often, we hoodwink my dad into taking pictures for us. On this day, it was quite cold out, so we slipped out onto my dad’s front porch, took 20 quick photos and hoped for the best!
You really can’t go wrong for any occasion with Kohl’s. I often buy the Jennifer Lopez brand, and Walt selects from Kohl’s tall brands. For this outfit post, to coordinate with my Jennifer Lopez pants and Dana Buchman top, he got a Marc Anthony tie in purple. Don’t you love it?
As you know Walt is 6’6″ and it’s very expensive to buy men’s tall shirts from most stores. However, this Croft and Barrow shirt from Kohl’s was a great buy and Walt has already worn it 3 times. Isn’t he the most handsome guy ever?
We usually go out for Valentine’s Day and give each other mushy cards. This year we decided to focus our clothing around purple because it’s the color of passion and royalty. Fits us pretty well I’d say!
I adore these purple Jennifer Lopez ankle jeans, I am pretty sure I will buy the white and the black ones as soon as I get a 30% off coupon code again. They fit like a dream. I am sure they will look good with sandals, flats, boots or whatever I pair them with. Also, the zippers at the ankle are RAWR!
While pulling our outfits together, I found this very different and oh-s0-me top from Dana Buchman (another Kohl’s line). I love how the purple coordinates perfectly with my Jennifer Lopez purple jeans.
As my mother always favored purple (she was true royalty and deserved to wear purple), she had a lot of purple necklaces. I wore two of her favorites with this outfit to complete the look.

I like the Women’s Jennifer Lopez Flyaway Chiffon Top in Whimsical Flamingo. I like it because it looks very comfortable and can be worn with dress pants, skirt or jeans.
I really like the jennifer lopez skinny jeggings. I could wear them for a date at night or during the day depending on if hubby can get off work early for us. Its really cute and easy to take off.
I like the Jennifer Lopez Distressed Boyfriend Jean Shorts. They would be great for this summer, because they are a good length.
I like the Women’s Jennifer Lopez Swing Tank. It’s pretty versatile and would go with almost anything for Valentines Day.
I think I’d give the petite straight leg jeans a try. Its always so hard to find jeans that fit. To make it more complicated, I’m short. As in short legs. I don’t think I’ve ever found a pair of jeans that didn’t need to be hemmed.
I would pick the Jennifer Lopez beaded surplice jumpsuit. I love jumpsuits and I think they look dressy.
I would wear the high rise skinny jeans because I’ve always like skinny jeans.
I would love to have the Petite Jennifer Lopez Mesh Poncho Top in Uptown Light because blue is my favorite color and the design is beautiful.
