Jennifer Lopez & Marc Anthony for Kohl’s
Purple for Valentines!
Kohl’s provided Walt and I outfits for Valentine’s Day. Our focus was purple from Marc Anthony and Jennifer Lopez! The Chief Blonde is wearing a (similar, Kohls), ($44, Kohls, also comes in black, white, and denim + lengths of avg, short and tall), jewelry is Chief Blonde’s mother’s ( ), and Nine West purple pumps (). Walt is wearing Marc Anthony purple silk tie ($40, Kohls), (Kohls) and his own belt, pants and shoes.
Walt and I go to church with my dad every other month or so. It’s pretty fun because it’s the church I grew up in. All my old Sunday school teachers come up to me and give me hugs. My dad has a group of widowers he hangs out with and Walt and I have got to know them pretty well. We swap stories with the group during coffee hour and eat donuts. After church, we usually go out to eat with my dad.
Quite often, we hoodwink my dad into taking pictures for us. On this day, it was quite cold out, so we slipped out onto my dad’s front porch, took 20 quick photos and hoped for the best!
You really can’t go wrong for any occasion with Kohl’s. I often buy the Jennifer Lopez brand, and Walt selects from Kohl’s tall brands. For this outfit post, to coordinate with my Jennifer Lopez pants and Dana Buchman top, he got a Marc Anthony tie in purple. Don’t you love it?
As you know Walt is 6’6″ and it’s very expensive to buy men’s tall shirts from most stores. However, this Croft and Barrow shirt from Kohl’s was a great buy and Walt has already worn it 3 times. Isn’t he the most handsome guy ever?
We usually go out for Valentine’s Day and give each other mushy cards. This year we decided to focus our clothing around purple because it’s the color of passion and royalty. Fits us pretty well I’d say!
I adore these purple Jennifer Lopez ankle jeans, I am pretty sure I will buy the white and the black ones as soon as I get a 30% off coupon code again. They fit like a dream. I am sure they will look good with sandals, flats, boots or whatever I pair them with. Also, the zippers at the ankle are RAWR!
While pulling our outfits together, I found this very different and oh-s0-me top from Dana Buchman (another Kohl’s line). I love how the purple coordinates perfectly with my Jennifer Lopez purple jeans.
As my mother always favored purple (she was true royalty and deserved to wear purple), she had a lot of purple necklaces. I wore two of her favorites with this outfit to complete the look.

I like the Jennifer Lopez Empire Maxi Dress Gianna Floral Dark, it looks comfortable and flattering. It has enough of the delicate flower detail for the occasion with the nice touch of black for contrast it would suit my style =)
I would wear the Caftan V-Neck Dress in Aurelie Marble with Women’s Cutout High Heels in Blush, because its romantic and sweetly feminine. Soft rose dress is definitely “Valentine’s” themed 🙂
I would pick the Jennifer Lopez fit and flare scuba dress in black. This would be perfect for our Valentine’s Day celebration dinner.
I would wear the Women’s Jennifer Lopez Beaded Surplice Jumpsuit. It would be a great outfit for dinner and for drinks and dancing afterwards, plus I love the beading.
I like her blouses. They always fit very well. I think they are perfect for Valentines Day.

I would like the Women’s Jennifer Lopez Cowlneck Tunic Sweater. Pretty, yet simple.
I like the Feather Faux-Wrap Dress because of its asymmetrical back.
I absolutely love those zipper ankle skinny jeans and she has them in petite!

Since I’m not into dresses too much, especially in winter, and it’s supposed to be rather cold on Valentine’s Day, I think I’d very probably like to wear the Women’s Jennifer Lopez Whiskered Flare Jeans. I know they probably aren’t the typical oh-la-la type of thing for that day, but the flare does tend to help give a bit of a flatter to the right curves and can make your legs look quite nice.

Oh, I really love the Women’s Jennifer Lopez Peasant Dress in Aqueous. I love pretty much every shade of blue, and this dress just looks so feminine and comfortable.
