Monroe and Main for Spring — One Dress Three Ways
Monroe and Main has been featuring this stunning geometric dress on their site for spring. The second I saw it, I knew it must be mine! Aren’t there just certain items you see and you just KNOW you will wear them over and over?
Even though it’s the dead of winter…yes, 2 degrees outside, this dress is just stunning with this black top coat and suede vintage booties. It’s just the punch of needed color for this dreary time of year.
This sheath style dress is the perfect cut for my hourglass figure. It minimizes the bust, skims over the bumps and ends at the perfect point just above the knee.
With the plethora of colors in this dress, I can choose almost any shoe, sweater or piece of jewelry in my closet and I can make the dress look totally different. Here’s a few other very different looks.
In the elegant look above, I have turned the dress into a top, pairing it with a lined tulle skirt. How’s that for variety?
Here I strike a more casual pose, and the dress moves effortlessly into that realm as well. The slightly above the knee length enables me to wear the Monroe and Main Geometric dress with high shoes and not look trampy or low shoes and not look frumpy.

I really like the look of LW Vogue
I wasn’t sure if I was to comment on their blog or here so I’m commenting on both. These are such versatile pieces if you know how to style them. I like all of these but the ones that stand out to me are Still Blonde After All These Years (I love how you are wearing your hair), LW Vogue, Comeback Momma, Modly Chic, Glamour Zine, and April GoLightly. Thanks for all the inspiration.
And I love the dress you are styling in this post. The colors are so vivid. I can see how that style will work on so many body types.
Thanks so much Christy! I really do think this outfit would be fab on so many people. The Chief Blonde
I LIKED REBEKAH F. SAVE TIME WITH ADAPTABLE CLOTHING. LW VOGUE. I LIKED IT BECAUSE IT LOOKS LIKE SOMETHING I WOULD WEAR AND THE COLOR WAS GREAT.
I like the April E. Desk to Dinner look. I like that the dress is a little longer, not above the knee. And, the peplum helps hide the tummy. Also love your black lace skirt.
Everyone looks Great! But I especially like Come Back Mommas Switch to a Party Look! The Reason I love the Black and Coral Look! I would wear these.. Black Slacks or a long Black Skirt!Love the style!

I like the:From Winter to Spring with Still Blonde After These Years!
Not only the over all style and colors are to my preference, I like the cut of the shirt, and skirt. The outfits go great from day to night and the accessory changes are very nice.
I love, love, love the look with the skirt over the dress. You are too clever. This is such a great dress and you look amazing in it.
