The Chief Blonde is Ready For Spring!
After saying Bye Bye to Winter, The Chief Blonde sheds her coat and adds some Hanes Legwear
Finally! Winter is heading out the door and I can get ready for spring. In Michigan, the first thing we do is ditch our coats..but it’s still plenty cold here. You can’t just start running around in summer dresses and flip flops just yet. Many women over 45, like to start wearing dresses or fancy shoes that you just can’t wear in the winter months. But you can’t just let your bare legs hang out! Brr..it’s too cold yet. My solution? I wear Legwear! Knee highs, thigh highs, tights and pantyhose are my choices. In this outfit post, all my products are from Hanes.

Heading off to a dinner with her wonderful Husband Walt, the Chief Blonde sports a glittery top from Old Navy ($19). Vintage Vest from Salvation Army ($1), handmade leather belt, Skirt –the Loft, Boots — the Loft, Tattoo Steel Bracelet c/o Emma Parker ($89), Vintage Turquoise Pins, and Hanes Lace Thigh High Hoisery in Jet Black(under $6)
I adore Hanes Legwear and Pantyhose and have wore them elsewhere on my blog >>Here<<. Hanes Legwear is affordable (all styles under $6), with a huge selection of style option and shades. I tried the styles and colors mentioned above in the outfits and also Hane’s seamless tights. I can rave about the tights too but I didn’t get a picture of them (we were late for church!) Plus, Hanes legwear doesn’t roll at my “Muffin Top waist”–in fact the pantyhose controls it. I also never get ankle sag with Hanes Legwear. I have scary white alabaster skin so I pretty much wear legwear all through the year except for summertime. Hanes is my go to brand! How about you?

I really like the Safari Jacket with slacks and the Ann Taylor Shoes. I like wearing tights under my slacks to give to a slimmer and smoother look.
I only wear legwear for special/formal occasions.

I don’t wear legwear as a transitional piece. I wear pantyhose with dresses or skirts most of the time, but I don’t like the bound and tight feeling.

I don’t really have a reason to get all dressed up lately, even though I would love to. If something did come up I have a old black dress I’d pull out of the closet, nothing fancy. I’ve never been really girly and into fashion.
considering i have not worn hose/heels/suits in almost 12 yrs b/c i had to take early retirement to care for my mother, i dont wear hose/heels very often. in fact, cant even remember the last time. i do like hanes hosiery and used to wear them. i like to wear opague hose, colored hose in the winter, not in the summer unless it is a very special occasion. i cant wear any of the clothes, too big for me, even the xs b/c they make them so big. i used to like the casual clothes, gym clothes but they are too big now
Since I work at home now, I don’t wear legwear nearly as often, unless I’m wearing a skirt or dress, which also isn’t nearly as often.
i am always in pants, and sneakers, i work way to much, i wore a dress last week to work for the first time in 5 years and i almost forgot how to sit like a lady,lol, so my legs are always covered

I usually wear tights when I’m going somewhere fancy and wearing a dress, but thats pretty much the only time. I like hanes products they seem to last pretty long

I wear leg wear when wearing dresses or skirts during the wintertime.
I always wear leg wear regardless of season. I just don’t feel “dressed” without them.
I like to wear tights and when I was in the business world, leg wear or stockings of all kinds! You look so great in your choices!

I mostly wear legwear in the winter or special occasions. I hate my legs so I usually cover them with pants! lol I do like Hanes products though and they tend to last a long time.
