The Chief Blonde is Ready For Spring!
After saying Bye Bye to Winter, The Chief Blonde sheds her coat and adds some Hanes Legwear
Finally! Winter is heading out the door and I can get ready for spring. In Michigan, the first thing we do is ditch our coats..but it’s still plenty cold here. You can’t just start running around in summer dresses and flip flops just yet. Many women over 45, like to start wearing dresses or fancy shoes that you just can’t wear in the winter months. But you can’t just let your bare legs hang out! Brr..it’s too cold yet. My solution? I wear Legwear! Knee highs, thigh highs, tights and pantyhose are my choices. In this outfit post, all my products are from Hanes.

I adore Hanes Legwear and Pantyhose and have wore them elsewhere on my blog >>Here<<. Hanes Legwear is affordable (all styles under $6), with a huge selection of style option and shades. I tried the styles and colors mentioned above in the outfits and also Hane’s seamless tights. I can rave about the tights too but I didn’t get a picture of them (we were late for church!) Plus, Hanes legwear doesn’t roll at my “Muffin Top waist”–in fact the pantyhose controls it. I also never get ankle sag with Hanes Legwear. I have scary white alabaster skin so I pretty much wear legwear all through the year except for summertime. Hanes is my go to brand! How about you?

I never wear leggings. I don’t know if I would feel comfortable in them. I love the knee high boots. Actually bought my first pair this past Christmas and love them.
Being a MN woman I love legwear. It adds the extra warmth I desire from tights in winter to the color my fair skin needs in Spring and Summer with tan hose.
Not a legwear person, but I really like these fashions, especially the fact that they’re good for older people. Usually they feature young people and us older folks can’t really relate to them.

I like legwear when it is cooler months since I am in florida that pretty much means Jan and Feb but some of the pairings you have shown are super cute and look really fun and I may just have to try some out!
I used to wear legwear regularly but now I rarely wear skirts or dresses. And really love those black boots!
I wear legwear when wearing a dress but only then. My daughter wants to try some of the leggings for under long sweaters and tunics.
I am not a big stocking wearer but I do love leggings and yes they are great for Spring =)
i try to get rid of legwear as soon as it warms up enough! Our springs tend to be pretty chilly so I end up wearing legwear for a while

I’ve been itching to get some colored tights to wear with my dresses on those days it to cool for bare legs but too warm for boots

I love legwear for Texas spring. Some days it’s 80, some days it’s 50– Hose makes it easier to wear my spring skirts and dresses.

I always wear legwear during cold weather months – love patterned legwear.
I only wear legwear in the late spring and summer. But, I love the styling. I can see me wearing some of this.
