Ukies Booties for Take your Parent to Work Day
Recently, my daughter invited my father and I to “Take your Parents to Work Day” at her office. She is an art director and everyone in the office dresses quite spiffy. I knew I had to up my usual “blog-on-the-couch” attire, so I grabbed these luxurious Ukies Booties and built an outfit around them.
We walked the entire three floors of a huge office complex as we toured the headquarters of my daughter’s work. We climbed up and down flights of stairs as well. Even though these Ukies Booties – Monica have 3 inch heels, I never felt any discomfort in my toes and my arches never ached. This is a frequent issue that I experience with other higher shoes I own but not with Ukies.

Ooooh, I love the Alberta sneaker-bootie hybrids. Of course, the black ones are really nice, but the leopard ones are over-the-top cool. I think I’d wear them all the time–they look comfortable enough for everyday but they’re nice enough for, well, anything.
I like the Paloma Burgundy Croc and also the Maureen Grey Suede. They look very stylish yet or not too high and comfortable to walk in.

I like the Andrea Black Napa. I haven’t worn heals in many years and can’t anymore due to back issues. I’m more a jeans kind of girl with occassional slacks so these shoes would go with either!

There are several pairs that have caught my eyes! However, if I have to pick one pair, it would be the Paloma in Eggshell Suede. These shoes would be prefect was a classic office suite or even cream sweater and slacks. These lovely shoes would look beautiful in my closet.
I LOVE the Maureen gray suede booties!! Man are they gorgeous and such a perfect shade of gray to go with everything!!
