Family get-togethers are always full of exciting new dishes and tons of dessert! This “Butterfly” Orange cake recipe is super moist with a very orange aroma. Originally made by my very own Aunt Beth, it is a perfect summer treat at a get-together. It’s a fresh, sunny taste and looks gorgeous in any shape!

I think the fun part of this very simple recipe is your imagination and the unique molds. I am sure that there are many characters out there but I would like something similar to your recipe. A butterfly or flower would be pretty. I guess too much icing would ruin the whole concept of seeing a face or character.

I bet this is yummy! The added moisture of the orange juice would make it really flavorful and wouldn’t dry out like some cake. I will be making this.

Thank you for sharing this delicious recipe. It’s easy to make and that important to me, but I like a recipe that has an added burst of flavor and this recipe had that.
