Aunt Beth's Butterfly Orange Cake Still Blonde after all these Years

Family get-togethers are always full of exciting new dishes and tons of dessert! This “Butterfly” Orange cake recipe is super moist with a very orange aroma. Originally made by my very own Aunt Beth, it is a perfect summer treat at a get-together. It’s a fresh, sunny taste and looks gorgeous in any shape!

That cake is almost too pretty to eat. But it sure does sound delicious enough to overcome my qualms.

I love orange cake. My grandmother used to make it with a glaze that you drizzle.

I love recipes that are this easy to make. And that have added ingredients that make them more special than just box cake mix. I made this and no one knew it wasn’t made from scratch. It was wonderful. The flavor was incredible. So moist.

I love family recipes, my mom makes my grandmothers gingerbread, and its funny that you say this cake is very aromatic, as that is what I remember most about the gingerbread cake, how it smells 🙂

I’ve never been fond of orange cake. I’m not really a cake eater. It is cute. Especially with some colorful frosting.
