Fashion for Your Skin!

The Chief Blonde was sent several great hats to review from Wallaroo, here she is wearing the Wallaroo Nina ($52). She is also wearing Nine West Golan Espedrilles (old, similar), Endless Rose Varsity Sweater (sold out, ), and Memory Necklace. Lipstick: Bare Minerals Marvelous Moxie Lipstick in “Call the Shots” ($18).
My entire life I have had to wear hats. I have very fair skin and a hat is not an option, it’s a must. My first job was working at a U-pick Strawberry farm and all day was spent in the sun directing pickers in the strawberry fields. We were relegated to wearing the farm’s baseball hats, so the U-pickers could easily spot us in the field. Let me tell you, for my fair skin, the small brim of a ball cap was NOT adequate.
When I choose hats these days, I most often gravitate to one with a wide brim like this Wallaroo Nina. The 4 1/2″ brim protects both my face and neck from the sun and I certainly look and feel fashionably wearing it. What I love is that there is an internal drawstring that I can adjust ensure the hat fits. This hat is made from Raffia which I always find to be the coolest material for hats, plus it has this fabulous crochet weave that makes very unique from any other wide brim hat I own.
I appreciate year round sun protection that looks as good from the front as it does from the back.

I love the tahitit cowboy!
I like the Aqua Hat.
I like the Aqua hat. I feel like it would provide sun protection, would be easy to pack on trips to the beach, and if it gets wet, it isn’t messed up since it is made of lycra.
I like the Tahiti Cowboy. It looks nice.
My favorite hat is the Tahiti Cowboy!! I love it because the turquoise raffia trim is beautiful!!
I like the Morgan hat. It is stylish enough to wear out.
I love the Frankie. It’s so jaunty.
I think “Morgan” is a Very classy hat that would got with almost anything! I would get my hubs the Jamison hat, which is classic and quite stylish, because he is the one who keeps having to have “pre-cancerous” lesions removed, and really CANNOT get any more sun!
I would probably choose the Capetown hat because I love the grey color and I like that it has a drawstring, too!
I like the Sierra hat. It looks a lot like a hat I used to wear.
I like Celeste hat because of the color and style
I love the Julia Hat. It is light and would match with so many outfits for the summer!
I absolutely love the Julia! Polka dots make me happy!
I like the Naples hat for ME in beige! I have a walmart army fatique color hat that I wear outside, although it’s not a favorite but it’s better than nothing as I’m at risk for melanoma.
I like this hat the most of all of them great style classic great look Nina. Thanks
Oh, and I would have to say the Breton hat in red would fit my style!
You are totally rocking that hat!!! Since I have lupus, I am supposed to not get too much sun, but I am the one who has to jump on the zero turn and cut 4 acres of grass twice a week. Right now I am using a baseball hat from the 90’s. Needless to say, it is not working too well!
I like the Nina. It is the most versatile style in my opinion. It is plain enough to wear just shopping or out in your yard. It works well for a dressy occasion and could be dressed up with a pretty scarf. Lots of nice styles. My daughter does Friday hat days at work and there are several here that would be nice for her.
I’d get the Tahiti (probably in taupe but maybe turquoise) and I also like the Ellie!
I like the Josie hat! It would complete a fall outfit perfectly!!
