Winter’s Coming! I’m Planning My Getaway now!
This is a Fashionista Event and a promotional item was provided to me. Hosts for this event are Still Blonde after all these Years and ModlyChic
I’m outta here!
Can you feel it? The snow is coming, the winter cold, and all the slushy yuck! I am a “One Day is Enough” winter person. Get a few outfit shots in the lovely pristine snow and then I am over it! My mind starts drifting to sundresses and sandals or at the very least, light cardigans and darling leather boots.
Since I live in Michigan, the reality is that winter lasts four months+. So I have to plan trips with Walt to bust out of here or I go MAD! This year we are eyeing a trip back to Charleston, SC. It’s just gorgeous there and we adore the architecture.
Where to Stay in Charleston?
This time when Walt and I return to Charleston, we have our eye on staying at the Hyatt House Charleston/Historic District.

What we are looking forward to in the Charleston – Historic District Hyatt House is the location! It’s centrally located in the heart of the Upper King Historic District with over 30 bars and restaurants less than a 10-minute walk away. Charleston, rated the #1 City to visit in America, has convenient access to beautiful beaches, iconic attractions, and unique festivals. The Charleston – Historic District Hyatt House is in the middle of it all it seems to us. PLUS, and this is the deciding factor for me, the Hyatt House has contemporary apartment-style suites. Walt and I can enjoy one-bedroom suites with kitchens and separate living spaces. I’m all about elegance and comfort.

Other bonus features I noticed for the Charleston – Historic District Hyatt House was that if I book directly at Hyatt.com I get the Best Rate Guarantee (we all know how I like to save money). I also noticed that there is free Wifi at all Hyatt Hotels–don’t you just HATE IT when a hotel charges you a massive fee for internet?

hyatt regency in nevada because I’ve always wanted to try it 🙂
Orlando Hyatt because they practically have no winter down there!
I’d probably pick the Hyatt Place Mystic / I95 & Seaport in Connecticut. I love that area and its been years since I was able to visit.
would love a mini vacay with hubby!
Hyatt House Pittsburgh South Side because my daughter and I could go, get some shopping done and visit my best friend, my daughter’s Godmother.
Toronto, lovely city would love to visit again!
I would stay at the Hyatt House in Charleston. I really enjoyed my previous stay
in Charleston to attend the commissioning of the USS Williams and am thinking
of leaving Connecticut to retire to scenic Charleston.
Hyatt in Charleßton
I was sad to see the Salt Lake City, UT location wasn’t on this list. All of my and my husband’s family live in the Salt Lake City valley and we haven’t seen them (because we cant afford it) in 2 years. I miss them so much! It would have been nice to help us hopefully soon have enough to get up there to visit. A free room would have helped for sure. But sense that’s not on the table, my husband and I could use a get away of some kind! We live in North Las Vegas. And because we wouldn’t have enough money for gas to go somewhere a little farther away, I would love to go to the Hyatt Place Las Vegas location. It would be amazing for him and I to have some alone time! We have been married for 11 years and never even had a honey moon! It stinks that everything revolves around money! Thanks for the chance to win. 🙂
the Hyatt is good.
I want to stay at the Hyatt on main in Green Bay so I can go to Lambeau go Packers!
Buenos Aires, it’s a nice warm place to visit
What a lovely Hyatt in a lovely Southern City! I’ve never been to Charleston but would love to visit the city.
Beaver Creek. Love Colorado.
I’d like to stay at the Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort, Casino and Spa because I’ve never been out West
I would love to stay at the Hyatt Place Daytona Beach – Oceanfront because my son goes to college there and I can warm up my body and my soul by seeing my son too!
I love Charleston!!
I would stay at the Hyatt hotel in Nevada on Lake Tahoe because it looks very pretty there and I’ve never been
I would stay at
Hyatt Place Daytona Beach Oceanfront because I’ve been to the east coast of Florida and loved it there
