Winter’s Coming! I’m Planning My Getaway now!
This is a Fashionista Event and a promotional item was provided to me. Hosts for this event are Still Blonde after all these Years and ModlyChic
I’m outta here!
Can you feel it? The snow is coming, the winter cold, and all the slushy yuck! I am a “One Day is Enough” winter person. Get a few outfit shots in the lovely pristine snow and then I am over it! My mind starts drifting to sundresses and sandals or at the very least, light cardigans and darling leather boots.
Since I live in Michigan, the reality is that winter lasts four months+. So I have to plan trips with Walt to bust out of here or I go MAD! This year we are eyeing a trip back to Charleston, SC. It’s just gorgeous there and we adore the architecture.
Where to Stay in Charleston?
This time when Walt and I return to Charleston, we have our eye on staying at the Hyatt House Charleston/Historic District.

What we are looking forward to in the Charleston – Historic District Hyatt House is the location! It’s centrally located in the heart of the Upper King Historic District with over 30 bars and restaurants less than a 10-minute walk away. Charleston, rated the #1 City to visit in America, has convenient access to beautiful beaches, iconic attractions, and unique festivals. The Charleston – Historic District Hyatt House is in the middle of it all it seems to us. PLUS, and this is the deciding factor for me, the Hyatt House has contemporary apartment-style suites. Walt and I can enjoy one-bedroom suites with kitchens and separate living spaces. I’m all about elegance and comfort.

Other bonus features I noticed for the Charleston – Historic District Hyatt House was that if I book directly at Hyatt.com I get the Best Rate Guarantee (we all know how I like to save money). I also noticed that there is free Wifi at all Hyatt Hotels–don’t you just HATE IT when a hotel charges you a massive fee for internet?

traveling is my favorite hobby! thanks so much!
Would very much enjoy going to the New Orleans location~ Would be nice to go away with husband for an early 27th year anniversary… Happy Holidays to all!
Charleston Historic District
Hyatt regency Austin! My parents moved to Austin a few months ago. I have a 2 year old son. He went from spending 3 or so times a week w his grandparents to zero time. To see them and a relaxing place to stay would mean the world! Great giveaway!
HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
Probably the Hyatt House Philadelphia/Plymouth Meeting. If schedule was free, Charleston would be nice to visit to get away from NJ winter. Philly’s weather is like ours, but it does have some wonderful museums to warm your heart.
Emery ills/San Francisco Bay Area. We went on our honeymoon to San Francisco and I would love to live there! It is also near my husband’s family.
I would choose the Hyatt Regency Mexico City. It’s somewhere I’ve always wanted to visit, and I would love to see the museums there.
Birmingham, AL Hyatt!
I would go to Philadelphia, my home city. I haven’t been for a while, and would love to go back for a visit.
I’d love to stay at the Hyatt House Seattle Downtown so that I could take my sister with me!
Colorado
I like to stay in Hong Kong grand hyatt
I would love to go back to the Andaz Peninsula Papagayo. The grounds and views was simply amazing but waking up to the very loud sounds of the monkeys was… well.. interesting lol
Staff was fantastic. Food is delicious too
Looks cozy.
I’d like to stay at the Hyatt Place Charleston Historic District. It’s a hop, skip and a jump away from our home, but we could still enjoy the nice features that the hotel and Charleston has to offer.
I really appreciate the opportunity to stay at the Hyatt. My older brother and his wife stayed there and raved about their experience.
I’d like to go to Hyatt Place Pittsburgh South/Meadows because I used to live in Pittsburgh. It would be nice to visit the old sites and friends. I live on the other side of the state.
I’d like to go to the Hyatt Place Seattle/Downtown because I’ve heard that’s a cool area to visit.
Love Hyatt—-dying to visit my sister in TX and my brother in PA this would help so much
