Well my dad is low carb and it seems to work for him, never had a problem. I tried it and it made me extremely ill, gained weight, and developed eating disorders, IBS. I discovered the high carb, low fat vegan lifestyle and it seems to work better for my body, and I am no longer getting ill. I noticed a lot of other positive changes happen to my body as well! Of course I stick with healthy carbs like potatoes, beans, rice. Whole foods are always the best way to go.
