FOUND! The Perfect Shopping Coat– Janska Boulder Coat
Janska’s first ambassador, Shelley Zurek , the Chief Blonde, was provided the Janska Boulder Coat in Check ($174). In this photo, she is also carrying her favorite bag the ($298), Vintage Pedrino Bow Booties ()
I am always and forever freezing. Needless to say, from November to March you will often see me in a hideous full length green down coat. I am not kidding. Function over form when it comes to warmth.
However, I am still menopausal. So I can go from freezing to hot in a snap! When I go shopping in a mall, or to one of my nephew’s basketball games this Janska Boulder Coat is just the perfect weight of coat to wear. This washable heather, faux felted wool coat features a wing collar and an open cascading front. Generous patch pockets and contrasting black stitching add that extra touch to this fashionable cover- up.
This is a coat I would take on a trip as well because it can go from casual to dress without missing a beat. Below, I wore the jacket to a Christmas concert at a local Mega-church in Plymouth, MI.
The Chief Blonde is wearing the Janska Boulder Jacket and is holding the Janska Dillion Hat $39 (both part of the Colorado Collection). She is also wearing Rag & Bone Stiletto Jeans ($129 on Sale) and Vintage Hale Bob Oxford heels.
The Dillion hat is so sweet. I wore both the coat and the matching Dillion hat shopping. I had a man come up to me and ask me if I was a designer. He loved the pairing so much! My sister-in-law loved the coat and hat as well, because she too agreed the Janska Boulder Coat is the perfect shopping coat.

I like the Cleo Jacket, because it’s purple and pretty.
My daughter still lives back in the NorthEast and just landed a new job. A cape would be a nice upgrade from the old lady cardigans he is so fond of, I like the margot myself.
I love the Audrey coat.

I like the Swing Coat because it is very classic looking.
I like the Patty Cape Sleeved Poncho. It looks so easy to wear and so very versatile. The lime green color is awesome!
I’d want the Montrose Cape in coal. I love jackets, but I hate wearing them because the shoulders are so constricting on them, so this cape would be a nice solution.
I love the Madison Coat!
I would love to own the Madison Polka Dot coat. I love the pattern and I love that it is reversible as well. I think an A line would be very flattering.
I love the “Frisco” hat
I have SO had my eye on this very coat!! LOVE the Boulder coat and that is what I would select!
I like the Maya Coat. It is different, and colorful.
I love the boulder coat in garnet, I also love the matching dillon hat. I would love to win because such a beautiful coat is a far cry from my usual man’s bubble coat that is wonderfully warm but makes me look like a blonde Michelin man.
