FOUND! The Perfect Shopping Coat– Janska Boulder Coat
Janska’s first ambassador, Shelley Zurek , the Chief Blonde, was provided the Janska Boulder Coat in Check ($174). In this photo, she is also carrying her favorite bag the ($298), Vintage Pedrino Bow Booties ()
I am always and forever freezing. Needless to say, from November to March you will often see me in a hideous full length green down coat. I am not kidding. Function over form when it comes to warmth.
However, I am still menopausal. So I can go from freezing to hot in a snap! When I go shopping in a mall, or to one of my nephew’s basketball games this Janska Boulder Coat is just the perfect weight of coat to wear. This washable heather, faux felted wool coat features a wing collar and an open cascading front. Generous patch pockets and contrasting black stitching add that extra touch to this fashionable cover- up.
This is a coat I would take on a trip as well because it can go from casual to dress without missing a beat. Below, I wore the jacket to a Christmas concert at a local Mega-church in Plymouth, MI.
The Chief Blonde is wearing the Janska Boulder Jacket and is holding the Janska Dillion Hat $39 (both part of the Colorado Collection). She is also wearing Rag & Bone Stiletto Jeans ($129 on Sale) and Vintage Hale Bob Oxford heels.
The Dillion hat is so sweet. I wore both the coat and the matching Dillion hat shopping. I had a man come up to me and ask me if I was a designer. He loved the pairing so much! My sister-in-law loved the coat and hat as well, because she too agreed the Janska Boulder Coat is the perfect shopping coat.

the eliza jacket is my favorite because it’s the most LIKE my style. and I love it in red, I have NO red jacket. Thank you! xoxoxo
I like the Spitfire Jacket. It’s not too heavy for our California winters and it folds up to fit in your purse to take with you in case you might need it in the evening.
the Edie Headband is cute
I love the Lucy coat! janska.com/products/jackets-coats/lucy-coat.html
I like the Madison.
I like the Margot wrap because of the two tone colors
Patty-Cape Sleeved Poncho. Love the swing!Chilly spells arrive unexpectedly here! I really appreciate so much that items are “home made” in the USA
I love anything in Houndstooth so there are plenty of pieces from Janska that appeal to me. Right now the Sophia Jacket and Boulder coat really look like they have a lot of personality and styling potential!
I would be thrilled to own the Margo Wrap. It looks beautiful and I think that it would accommodate my plus size figure. The artichoke color is fab, but I’d probably go with slate, since I’m not very adventurous!
I’d choose the Boulder Coat, I love the cut and style and I’d choose the houndstooth design too because it’s always trendy for Winter.
I love the Sophia Jacket because it is reversible so you can wear black or red!
I need a new jacket and I love the Roxie Jacket in Jet!
I really like the roxy jacket in black and the alma cape. I looove the margo wrap and want it bad. It is so classic!
I would get the Billie coat in red for me and I would get the Swing coat for my mom. I don’t get too cold and the weather here in northwest Florida isn’t so bad but my mom is forever cold so she would need a little bit more so this would great for her.
I like the Vail coat and the Sweet Petunia hat.
I would like to say you are always dressed so beautiful in all of your pictures! And you have also given me a new passion, Janska! I love their Vests, hats and coats! I love the “Alma” Cape!
I love, love, love the Vail coat (janska.com/products/jackets-coats/vail-coat.html). I desperately need a mid-weight coat, but one that’s still professional enough for work.
I like the Lucy coat! Although they have a lot of coats that look great.
I like the Audrey Coat, it looks warm but still dressy.
I like the Boulder Coat. The colors, style and cut of it would be flattering to me
