Gain Traction — Whether you are a Runner or Walker!
Icebug sent me these Icebug DTS3 RB9X GTX (ARV $180) Shoes with Traction on Ice and Wet Surfaces
Slipping and falling keeping you from being active?
My mother was an avid walker for most of her retired life. She enjoyed cruising around the neighborhood, no matter the weather, where she could be found chatting with neighbors and handing out medical advice. Alas, she slipped on ice at her mailbox and broke her leg in two places and it put her out of commission for 9 months. She wished that she had been wearing better foot gear, shoes with traction on ice and wet surfaces!
The RB9X outsole provides superb traction even on wet surfaces, yet it matches the durability of an asphalt running shoe.
The Icebug DTS3 RB9X GTX which I was sent, has a Boa lacing system to ensure perfect fit in this waterproof trainer. The Distance Training Shoe (DTS) is great for athletes but a perfect choice for women over 45 as it’s design with comfort in mind. They have soft padding in the collar and tongue, and a foot shaped ergonomic last that your feel will love instantly. I also liked the arch support.
The comfy engineered mesh upper makes sure your foot is protected, stable and comfortable all day long. The high torsion and fully cushioned midsole result in a stable shoe that also protects from over-pronating. The upper has a waterproof GORE-TEX membrane that turns this version of DTS into a three-season companion. The RB9X outsole provides superb traction even on wet surfaces, yet it matches the durability of an asphalt running shoe. Can you say versatile?
PSST: the DTS3 RB9X GTX runs a full size small so order up by one full size. I take an 8.5 and ordered a 9.5 and it fit perfectly.
Icebug notes that the DTS3 RB9X GTX is for the avid runner to the light walker, the waterproof DTS3 RB9X GTX provides comfort, stability, and traction to support all levels of everyday training.
Another Icebug style: the Icebug DTS3 RB9X ($160)
THE TRACTION EXPERT – Icebug provides people with the best possible traction to empower them to have fun and be safe when continuing to be active outdoors, even when it’s slippery. Core users range from world champions to those who need a walker to get to the mail box. Perfect for my mom (and me). The patented carbide tip stud technologies, Icebug is the expert in providing the highest level of traction for extreme slippery conditions. By adding RB9X to our traction technology, a benchmark is set for the best “sticky rubbers” available on the market. Whether you’re taking a mid-winter stroll or racing for gold in a midsummer trail run, Icebug has a grip for you.

I really like the Icebug Women’s Anima2 BUGrip Studded Traction Running Shoe! I love the beautiful aqua color, and I could see them looking really cute with coordinating gym clothes.
Thanks for the chance to win!

I like the Iceberg Zeal OLX. I had purchased a pair of ice clamp one for my shoes after falling at work. I am an LNA and work 3-11. We had an ice storm and I fell on the ice as I was leaving work and broke my pelvis. Anything with traction would be great.
I really like the Women’s Acceleritas5 RB9X Traction Running Shoes. Reminds me of an old school video game!
I like the Icebug Women’s DTS2 BUGrip Studded Traction Running Shoe. Looks like a great shoe.
Icebug Women’s Anima4 RB9X Traction Running Shoe Love the multi colors of this shoe and what a great idea as we get older we don’t want to slip as it takes so much longer to heal when we are get old.
For the colder months I think I would enjoy having the Icebug Women’s Avila2 BUGweb Removable Traction winter Boot. They would be great to wear on rainy, windy and cold days.
I like the Icebug Women’s Oribi RB9X Traction Running Shoe for it’s ability to help traction on rocky terrain. The first thing that came to my mind was the cobble stone streets around the office. We have our walking days of fitness now that the weather is a lot better. This would be a tremendous help in keeping up at a certain pace without twisting an ankle. I also love that it is a “light weight” shoe and not so heavy to lift your fit up and down. I am not sure how “graceful” I would be but I am a little clumsy, this shoe is perfect!
Icebug Women’s Juniper RB9X GORE-TEX Traction All-Season Boot because they look like they would also give the ankle support I need.
Icebug Women’s Mist RBX9 Trail-Running Shoe because of they are lightweight.
I really like their Icebug Women’s Diana BUGsole Winter Boot. Why? Because like your Mom, I tool around the neighborhood! I walk every day and honestly the traction is paramount. These would be super safe.
I really love the Acceleritas – the colors are fabulous!

I would love to get the Icebug Women’s DTS3 RB9X Traction Running Shoe. they are super cute and i think they will be so comfortable.
I would like these, Icebug Women’s Cortina BUGsole Removable Traction Winter Boot, for my winter walks in the woods.
I *need* the Icebug Women’s Metro BUGrip Studded Traction Winter Boot! I like the ankle support in a boot style. Frankly, I am afraid of ice. Having spent most of my life in southeast Texas, I did not grow up learning to deal with snow and ice. On the rare occasions we got ice, we mostly just shut everything down until it was over—usually the next day lol. Now that I live in a place where it actually snows every year, I am learning.
I like the Icebug Women’s Daphne BUGrip Studded Traction Winter Boots.
I like the entire line, actually, I would love ANY of the studded shoes for winter, but for general year=round wear, I like the Icebug Women’s Mist RBX9 Trail-Running Shoe. I have a lot of Croc because they are great for plantar fascitis, BUT they can be downright treacherous on wet surfaces. These look like they’d offer the support I need along with the traction.
I would pick the Icebug Women’s Mist RBX9 Trail-Running Shoe because we don’t get a lot of snow or ice here in Atlanta but I do like to get my walk in every day.
I love the Icebug Women’s Anima4 RB9X Traction Running Shoe! Super cute shoe, and super functional! I am always slipping on air! LOL
I have never seen this brand before! I like the Icebug Women’s Mist RBX9 Trail-Running Shoe in Shell/Orchid/ I love the colors.
I absolutely love the Icebug Women’s Zeal OLX Studded Traction Running Shoe! Besides the support the shoes have their are ADORABLE!!
