still blondeThe Chief Blonde Remarks:

My dad has a whole room in his house for photos. Seriously…

new-features-amazon-prime-photos

He has photos from our family, his ancestors and my mom’s ancestors…it quickly multiplies.  I myself have 20+ years of photos, some in albums, some not.  I really want to be able to pull them up when I want them. Organizing them digitally is the answer for sure, I just need a great solution. When Plustek contacted me to review their scanner, I jumped at the chance.

Priced at $199, the Plustek ePhoto Z300 makes an excellent gift for adults, seniors and families who want to revive their memories and share them via email or on social media with the touch of a button.

The Plustek ePhoto Z300 features:

  • • fast, cutting-edge scanning technology, coupled with an intuitive user interface
  • • professional scan results that can be easily touched-up with the included software
  • • easy, one-touch saving and sharing to social media
  • • convenient scanning of other materials, from credit cards to recipes and documents
  • • a sleek, modern design that makes it as much an appliance as a décor piece

Plustek has been making scanners for professional photographers and offices for 30 years, and after hearing all of the positive stories of how our film scanners brought both memories and historical moments back to life, our team decided to develop a machine that could do the same for families.

I like that it is a one touch process and you don’t have to program it every time you use it. I also like that it is small so it can be kept on the desktop so you can scan receipts without making it a big process.

I am not very techy, so this item sounds amazing. I would love to get all my daughters’ childhood photos together in a digital album.

I like the one touch sharing. My son is always asking me to find and old picture to show his friends and this would make it so easy to send to him. I also would have to give him the original to lose!

I like that it has an optical resolution of 300 dpi, which I feel is essential for professional print work. Thank you for the great giveaway. Happy holidays!

I love that it recognizes the size of the document. There is nothing worse then scanning a photo only to have a white area around the actual picture that you now have to work to figure out how to resize. The results can impact the quality of the scan if you use the wrong program to resize the image to just the original picture. Having a scanner that knows it is a little picture and not a piece of paper is awesome.

I love that you can scan several small photos at the same time…the scanner I have now is one where you have to feed one photo at a time

This looks like an interesting device. I need to scan items all the time and using our color printer to do it is really cumbersome. This might be the solution. Thanks for offering it.

I love the high resolution scanner that can transform old photos and allow you to share them with the entire family with one push of a button. We have tons of old black and white family photos that we have tried to copy but have not been able to or at least not well enough to recopy and scan to others. I know our family would love to share these.
