still blondeThe Chief Blonde Remarks:

My dad has a whole room in his house for photos. Seriously…

new-features-amazon-prime-photos

He has photos from our family, his ancestors and my mom’s ancestors…it quickly multiplies.  I myself have 20+ years of photos, some in albums, some not.  I really want to be able to pull them up when I want them. Organizing them digitally is the answer for sure, I just need a great solution. When Plustek contacted me to review their scanner, I jumped at the chance.

Priced at $199, the Plustek ePhoto Z300 makes an excellent gift for adults, seniors and families who want to revive their memories and share them via email or on social media with the touch of a button.

The Plustek ePhoto Z300 features:

  • • fast, cutting-edge scanning technology, coupled with an intuitive user interface
  • • professional scan results that can be easily touched-up with the included software
  • • easy, one-touch saving and sharing to social media
  • • convenient scanning of other materials, from credit cards to recipes and documents
  • • a sleek, modern design that makes it as much an appliance as a décor piece

Plustek has been making scanners for professional photographers and offices for 30 years, and after hearing all of the positive stories of how our film scanners brought both memories and historical moments back to life, our team decided to develop a machine that could do the same for families.

I have many pictures and ancestry documents that I want to copy and it is a pain on my computer. This Plustek ePhoto Z300 Photos and Documents Scanner sounds like it would do any and everything for me. I am impressed with the 48-bit input, 24-bit output scan modes.
    Thank you.

I love that it’s so pretty you could leave it out and it would look great! I have a boring black scanner wand and this would be an upgrade!

I’m glad it’s 300 dpi, any less and it wouldn’t do so well for photos. Thank you. Happy Holidays!

I like the sleek design meaning it won’t take up a lot of space and be bulky like other printer/scanner types.

Right now we have a scanner at home but it’s part of a large printer/copier. This is great because it’s smaller and more easily moved, so I would be able to work from anywhere in the house (without having to run back and forth to the one scanner mentioned above). Getting more steps in a day is one thing, but I’d rather get those another way and have my scanning be more productive!

It lets you digitize old photos, and I have 2 box full that I would love to put on a disc for the family. They would love seeing all the old things we did together.
