still blondeThe Chief Blonde Remarks:

My dad has a whole room in his house for photos. Seriously…

new-features-amazon-prime-photos

He has photos from our family, his ancestors and my mom’s ancestors…it quickly multiplies.  I myself have 20+ years of photos, some in albums, some not.  I really want to be able to pull them up when I want them. Organizing them digitally is the answer for sure, I just need a great solution. When Plustek contacted me to review their scanner, I jumped at the chance.

Priced at $199, the Plustek ePhoto Z300 makes an excellent gift for adults, seniors and families who want to revive their memories and share them via email or on social media with the touch of a button.

The Plustek ePhoto Z300 features:

  • • fast, cutting-edge scanning technology, coupled with an intuitive user interface
  • • professional scan results that can be easily touched-up with the included software
  • • easy, one-touch saving and sharing to social media
  • • convenient scanning of other materials, from credit cards to recipes and documents
  • • a sleek, modern design that makes it as much an appliance as a décor piece

Plustek has been making scanners for professional photographers and offices for 30 years, and after hearing all of the positive stories of how our film scanners brought both memories and historical moments back to life, our team decided to develop a machine that could do the same for families.

I like the large scanning area. I have a little photo scanner, but nothing that can scan the bigger photos.

I work in imaging so I know almost all images captured are 200 dpi. This one captures at 300 dpi that increases resolution drastically.

The versatile scanning and automatic corrections are the best features to me. I love that it can help to correct and fix flaws so you do not waste a lot of time editing/fixing things.

I like how small it is, yet how big the scanning size is.

I like the photo scanning feature because I have hundreds of old photos that I’d like to reproduce and make larger to put into albums for easy reference.

I like that it quickly scans photos without damaging or wrinkling them, auto corrects things like skew, allows you to easily edit them in the software, and then share them with one click to social media.

I likethat the high-resolution photo scanner allows you to digitize your old photos because I would love to do that and toss the original paper copies for the sake of minimalism and clutter reduction.

I am impressed that it has a high resolution. This would be a great gift for my son-in-law who loves photography.

I like that you can scan plastic cards, receipts and documents. I have to keep copies of papers for work and this would be handy to scan them for business purposes. Thanks.

I would like being able to scan different size photos easily. My mother has some really old photos that need copied, and there are those from my childhood that were the old small size that I would like to copy.
