Party Dresses Holidays 2015

Get Your Party on… Party Dresses Holiday

Holiday Party Dresses

The Chief Blonde is wearing Monroe and Main Smoky Quartz Necklace (similar), vintage fur color coat (similar), Loft embroidered top (similar),  Nine West pumps (similar),  and Kohls LC Lauren Conrad Runway sequin skirt

For the past two years, Walt and I have attended a one man play of It’s a Wonderful Life. Can you imagine one person doing all those roles and memorizing all that dialogue?  “This Wonderful Life” a one-man show based on “It’s a Wonderful Life”  was performed November 27th at 7:30pm at Village Players staring Paul Housey. The benefit was staged to raise funds and awareness for Building Bridges.

It’s fun to get dressed up and this year our kids attended with us along with some family friends.

UPDATE!  This blog post originally had a giveaway attached for a $50 Kohls gift card.  The Rafflecopter entry device has been removed and had 10358 entries.   See Giveaway Winners.

What a fun and festive outfit! I love the sparkly skirt. It would definitely fit for tonight. I just heard that metallic and chrome is in and with it being New Year’s Eve sparkle is always fun. 🙂 I really like how eye catching it is without being overpowering since paired with the neutral top and jacket. Happy New Year’s Eve!

My husband and I rarely go out anymore. Maybe it’s because we’d much rather binge watch TWD on our futon or just lounge around, but it’s become a habit instead of a pastime. During the holidays, I LOVE getting to dust off my beautiful party dresses, or better yet, buy some NEW party dresses to celebrate the season. My husband claims he has spent half his life waiting on me to get ready ( I DO have a tendency to move in slow motion just to make sure everything is JUST RIGHT!) But when I come out dressed to the nine, with my hair not in it’s normal topknot, shiny and sparkly, my husband can’t help but smile. We may not stay long, heck sometimes we don’t even make it out the house, but I think every now and then couples need to remember what they looked like when they were dating. Before every outfit became something I can sleep in, it’s nice to know I still have that wow factor. Well, at least to my husband, and that’s all that matters to me.

Very nice! I sure do miss getting all dressed up and knowing I look good. Those days are gone now, but I have some really good memories. And from what I can see in this picture is that you must feel the same way I used to about photo’s, you can never have too many of your most fun and important days/nights!

Sorry, I didn’t see the reply earlier than now. I have been pretty sick lately and my blogging has suffered greatly. I have books piled everywhere but I think I told everyone what was going on in my last blog post and update.

My doctor’s can’t figure out where all the swelling is coming from and don’t want to order water pills until they figure out why. So, I am still seeing specialists and having tests done.

It is hard for me to put clothes on because they all feel so tight and it puts added pressure on my belly area. I have quite a bit of bloating and have tried herbal remedies, RX’s from doctors and drinking lots of water but for some reason I am retaining the bloat and/or gas. I have several more doctors to see this month and in February, so maybe, by then someone will have some idea’s.
