Monroe and Main for Spring — One Dress Three Ways
Monroe and Main has been featuring this stunning geometric dress on their site for spring. The second I saw it, I knew it must be mine! Aren’t there just certain items you see and you just KNOW you will wear them over and over?
Even though it’s the dead of winter…yes, 2 degrees outside, this dress is just stunning with this black top coat and suede vintage booties. It’s just the punch of needed color for this dreary time of year.
This sheath style dress is the perfect cut for my hourglass figure. It minimizes the bust, skims over the bumps and ends at the perfect point just above the knee.
With the plethora of colors in this dress, I can choose almost any shoe, sweater or piece of jewelry in my closet and I can make the dress look totally different. Here’s a few other very different looks.
In the elegant look above, I have turned the dress into a top, pairing it with a lined tulle skirt. How’s that for variety?
Here I strike a more casual pose, and the dress moves effortlessly into that realm as well. The slightly above the knee length enables me to wear the Monroe and Main Geometric dress with high shoes and not look trampy or low shoes and not look frumpy.

Bateau Neck Ruched Top, it looks stylish and comfortable and I generally like tops that aren’t really low-cut.
I love the Taj Dress because of the great design and all the colors.
I’ve already got a lot of plain, solid color basics. I really like the “Lunch with The Girls Dress” because it has an interesting pattern, fits my style but also has a bit of elegance to it. I really like it!

I love the Blue Waters Peplum Dress. It is vibrant, beautiful and easy to dress up or down – one of those staples you wonder how you ever lived without once you have one.
WHOA.. I REALLY want their Fire and Ice dress. Summer is coming and I love to wear dresses, it is cooler for me. And that dress looks amazing, and it would actually go with a large bustline. That is my curse… so many blouses and dresses just do not go well with a large bust.. one MUST wear a super good bra and too many dresses don’t have nice staps to cover up well.
I love the Border Print Tunic because of its flattering lines and it comes in plus size too
I like the Release Pleat Cardigan.
I love the Print Peplum Top. It’s so colorful and would go with so many things!
