On the Record with Mick Rock
coming to Ovation TV 8/2 at 8PM ET
Mick Rock premieres with an original spin on the musician profile series
Oh! We are all in for musical treat! Mick Rock is as famous for capturing iconic images of ’70s rock stars as he is today, photographing the up-and-coming of the music industry. He now takes his insights to a new level, hosting a MUST SEE series that takes a new twist on musician interviews. Premiering 8/2 at 8:00PM ET on Ovation TV, I will be glued to my set for his can’t-miss interview with Josh Groban. Special Bonus: We get to hear Josh sing as well!
The premise of the series, On the Record with Mick Rock, is Mick traveling with the musician back to where it all began…their hometown. During the premiere episode, native Angeleno and multi-platinum recording artist Josh Groban takes Mick on an inspiring tour of Los Angeles, relating stories about a high school teacher who mentored him in his success, giving us a glimpse of the after-school Shakespeare program he personally supports and treating Mick (and all of us as well SQUEEEE!) to a moving performance of his song, Hidden Away. Premieres 8/2 8:00pm EST!

1. In your opinion, who was the greatest Beatle? I’d love you to tell me why, if you want.
2. In your opinion, what was the greatest concert you ever experienced? I’d love you to tell me why, if you want.
3. In your opinion, who is the best musician today? I’d love you to tell me why, if you want.
4. In your opinion, what was the best performance (of any kind) that you ever saw? I’d love you to tell me why, if you want.

The best performance I’ve seen was Alanis Morrisette.
Trent Reznor is one of my favorite musicians.
The best concert I ever attended was a Red Hot Chili Peppers concert.
John Lennon was my fave Beatle.
The best concert I have ever experienced was New Kids on the Block. I loved this one because not only was it my first, but I experienced my first limo rides with a big group of my friends. We had so much fun and I could finally be myself and let it “my hair down”!
Best performance and a concert I recommend everyone going to is Weird Al. You will laugh the whole time, he keeps everyone engaged. Lots of costume changes, no lip syncing, and fun songs.
My favorite concert has to be when I saw Loverboy back around 1982-83ish. I think some of why it was my favorite was because it was my first ever concert. Secondly, I was in love with Loverboy back in the day.
Paul was because he had a personality that stood out, lyrics, musical vision and made me feel good all over.
The best performance was at the SuperBowl. I really enjoyed it and he just made the day.
The best performance I ever saw was Heart in concert.
John Lennon.
I would have to say John Lennon because he was not only an awesome artist but he also wrote incredible songs
I love to go to concerts. I wish I could get my boyfriend to go to them. he has never been to one. I think he would love going to them. never was much of a Beatles fan. They were good during their time. Their legend lives on.
4. This is showing my age but before Elton John hit it big and was just getting his audience I went to a gym at a local college that was set up with folding chairs. I had no expectations at all since I’d never seen him, just heard a few songs. When he performed it was amazing and we knew we were seeing musical history in the making.
3. I’m still going with Sting since he has such an unusual voice and doesn’t care about trends.
2. Sting is my favorite concert ever especially when it’s in a smaller venue. I find something about his music so romantic. I think one of my favorites was when he was in Vegas at the hotel we were staying at so it made for a romantic evening.
1. Paul McCartney because I loved him when I was a teen and he’s stood the test of time. He’s a compassionate and talented man.
1. I like all of the Beatles. Paul is my favorite. He always seemed sweetest when they were young, and had the best smile. Plus, I like the songs that he wrote the most.
2. My best concert was the Eagles. We had terrible seats, but seeing them was a life long dream, and I went with my daughter and that made it more special.
3. I listen to the oldies music most of the time. I think that Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran are very talented, and they both write music.
4. I’ve never seen a life changing performance, but I saw Train in concert a couple of months ago. They were especially great. I went with my sister, and we had a great time.
The best performance I ever saw was the U2 concert that I went to the special effects and lighting were amazing.
Best musician today is Bruce Stringsteen he is gifted and his songs stand the test of time and he has his own sound I love it.
Best concert I have ever been to was front row U2 because it was amazing and it was front row! I love Bono!
