On the Record with Mick Rock
coming to Ovation TV 8/2 at 8PM ET
Mick Rock premieres with an original spin on the musician profile series
Oh! We are all in for musical treat! Mick Rock is as famous for capturing iconic images of ’70s rock stars as he is today, photographing the up-and-coming of the music industry. He now takes his insights to a new level, hosting a MUST SEE series that takes a new twist on musician interviews. Premiering 8/2 at 8:00PM ET on Ovation TV, I will be glued to my set for his can’t-miss interview with Josh Groban. Special Bonus: We get to hear Josh sing as well!
The premise of the series, On the Record with Mick Rock, is Mick traveling with the musician back to where it all began…their hometown. During the premiere episode, native Angeleno and multi-platinum recording artist Josh Groban takes Mick on an inspiring tour of Los Angeles, relating stories about a high school teacher who mentored him in his success, giving us a glimpse of the after-school Shakespeare program he personally supports and treating Mick (and all of us as well SQUEEEE!) to a moving performance of his song, Hidden Away. Premieres 8/2 8:00pm EST!

1. In your opinion, who was the greatest Beatle? I’d love you to tell me why, if you want.
2. In your opinion, what was the greatest concert you ever experienced? I’d love you to tell me why, if you want.
3. In your opinion, who is the best musician today? I’d love you to tell me why, if you want.
4. In your opinion, what was the best performance (of any kind) that you ever saw? I’d love you to tell me why, if you want.

The best concert I went to would be Santana a few years ago. We had a great time listening to classic music, then a surprise. The front man for the Eagles came out and performed their classics. Then both groups eerformed together. Wow, what a night!!
John Lennon was the greatest Beatle
I saw a drum line performance at a Vietnamese cultural event -they were the most entertaining performance I’ve ever seen!
The best performance I’ve seen recently would be the Chad Reinert concert I saw this past Friday. He’s a down-to-earth blues and country singer with some gospel thrown in. The church I attend has a service for deaf people in the community and we have signed in church to some of his songs, so it was exciting to see him in person.
The best performance I ever saw was broadway phantom of the opera. It was amazing!
My favorite singer is Josh Groban. While I haven’t seen a live performance, his face is so expressive when he sings–it’s a joy to watch that alone. His music speaks to me and it’s like he’s saying exactly what I’m thinking and/or feeling at times.
The best musician today is taylor swift, at least she writes and sings her own stuff.
The greatest concert I ever saw was nirvana. It was sad that not long after Kurt cobain killed himself.
The greatest concert I’ve experienced was the performance by Frankie Valli earlier this year in Atlantic City, NJ. Even at 80, he still has more energy than I do at 46. The audience involvement is wonderful as well.
I think the greatest Beatle was Paul. I loved his voice and his songwriting.
In my opinion, Ringo Starr was the best Beatle. It’s very difficult to be the person keeping time for any songs performed on stage, especially for a group as popular as they were. If your count is off, the song won’t sound right. Thank you for the giveaway!
I’d pick Paul McCartney, because he remained a musician throughout all of these years and kept his music fresh all the way!
Ringo, he was misundertstood
I’ve never been to a concert 🙁
I like the pop stars of today.
I think all the beatles were super talented but the lyrics written by John Lennon are my favorite. I love how he was super creative, went against the grain and stood for what he believed.
How can one say who their favorite Beatle was when they were all unique in their own way
The best performance that I’ve ever been to was The Nutcracker when my daughter was a ballerina in the performance! It was awesome!
The best musician today is Trace Adkins! He has soooo many hits & I just love his music!
The best concert that I have been to was Bon Jovi. They really gave an awesome performance!
My favorite Beatle is John Lennon becaause I just love his voice & the songs he wrote!
I miss read the question, I thought you meant my favorite Beatles Song. My favorite Beatle would be John McCartney.
