On the Record with Mick Rock
coming to Ovation TV 8/2 at 8PM ET
Mick Rock premieres with an original spin on the musician profile series
Oh! We are all in for musical treat! Mick Rock is as famous for capturing iconic images of ’70s rock stars as he is today, photographing the up-and-coming of the music industry. He now takes his insights to a new level, hosting a MUST SEE series that takes a new twist on musician interviews. Premiering 8/2 at 8:00PM ET on Ovation TV, I will be glued to my set for his can’t-miss interview with Josh Groban. Special Bonus: We get to hear Josh sing as well!
The premise of the series, On the Record with Mick Rock, is Mick traveling with the musician back to where it all began…their hometown. During the premiere episode, native Angeleno and multi-platinum recording artist Josh Groban takes Mick on an inspiring tour of Los Angeles, relating stories about a high school teacher who mentored him in his success, giving us a glimpse of the after-school Shakespeare program he personally supports and treating Mick (and all of us as well SQUEEEE!) to a moving performance of his song, Hidden Away. Premieres 8/2 8:00pm EST!

1. In your opinion, who was the greatest Beatle? I’d love you to tell me why, if you want.
2. In your opinion, what was the greatest concert you ever experienced? I’d love you to tell me why, if you want.
3. In your opinion, who is the best musician today? I’d love you to tell me why, if you want.
4. In your opinion, what was the best performance (of any kind) that you ever saw? I’d love you to tell me why, if you want.

John Lennon
Better Midler, 1999. She was my first concert (I was an adult LOL). She is an amazing performer. Hilarious, touching and her voice! ! I would love to see her live again.
Best Performance would be James Taylor. His songs are just stupendous
I think Billie Joel is a great musician because all his songs have so much meaning
I think seeing Elton John was the best. I just love all of his songs
I think John Lennon was best because of his songs like Imagine
My favorite Beatle was always Paul. I think it is because he had such a great career all around.
The best concert I’ve been to so far would be the 21 pilots concert here in Manila just last month. The duo were amaaazing live and I was with my favorite people in the world so it was so much fun!
Again best performance would be the Rolling Stones. I’ve seen them 3-4 times in concert starting when I was around 20 and even then, their best performance was in New York a few years ago!
I can’t think of anyone that I think is the best musician today. They just aren’t the same as they were even 10 years ago. If I had to pick someone I’d go with George Strait because he has lasted through the decades and his style hasn’t changed much even though country isn’t what it used to be!
The greatest concert I’ve been to was the Rolling Stones in New York a few years ago! It’s amazing that 60 year old men can put on a show that energetic and awesome!
I don’t think any of the Beatles were better than any of the others. They needed each other to become the icons that they are!
It’s a toss up for me on the best musician today. There are so many. I’m going to say Keith Urban because he is a guitar wizard.
The best concert I attended was probably Fleetwood Mac. So much diversity is music and wonderful performers.
The best concert I’ve ever been to (well, there – passing out flyers for PETA, but allowed to sneak in and watch the concert) was Paul McCarthy when he performed in Indianapolis a couple of summers ago. Man, given his age and how many years he’s been performing, I was amazed that this man went on virtually non-stop for close to THREE HOURS. And, every song was amazing. I really hate paying for a concert – taking time to get there, paying through the nose for parking, etc., and then the main band only plays an hour or so. For Paul I only had to pay my gas to get there and parking, but the price of tickets was more than worth it for those who paid.
Paul – 1A John – 1B because they were good in their own unique way.
The best Beatle, in my opinion, was Paul. I’ve read many biographies on the band, and he has just always been my favorite.
My favorite Beatle (and I feel the best) is Paul.
2. I’ve been to 5 concerts in my life.. 4 of them have been Marianas Trench in the last few years. They are an amazing modern group and sound even better live than on studio recordings
1. For me, John lennon. Not did he write the best songs, I like his career after beatles. But Paul Macartney and George Harrison were two geniuses’ too. They all have a certain charm to them
