Monroe and Main Fall EVENT + Fall Collection Preview 2013

September 3, 2013 By Shelley Zurek 305 Comments

Rockin Attitude with Monroe  and Main Fall Collection

This  Monroe and Main Fall Collection Preview Post + $1000 Review/Giveaway is part of a Fashionista Events opportunity. Clothing/accessories were provided by Monroe and Main as noted below.

Monroe and Main Fall 2013 #womenover45

The Chief Blonde is wearing Monroe and Main Fall Fashions including Pleather Jacket ($89.95), Faceted Stone Necklace ($29.95), Velvet Trim Tee (Originally $49.95, on sale for $17.99).  Shorts and shoes Chief Blonde’s own.
still blondeThe Chief Blonde Remarks: I was asked to highlight the Monroe and Main Fall Collection.  As you know, I am already a fan of Monroe and Main, having previously reviewed them here: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6.  Checking out their shoes, boots, dresses, outwear and accessories was such fun.  My eyes almost popped out from all the fun and edgy choices.

Look at all the amazing boots and booties from the fall collection!

Monroe and Main Fall Collection 2013 Boots

Monroe and Main has an extensive shoe/boot collection composed of both man-made materials and leather choices. You will find heels, clogs, boots, and flats in all the latest choices. You know me, I love shoes and boots. I almost bought the leather booties above instead of the outfit pieces that I did choose…but that would have spoiled all YOUR fun!

Accessories that make the Outfit

Monroe and Main Fall collection 2013 #womenover45

The Chief Blonde is featuring  the Monroe and Main ZigZag Scarf ($12.99)

The accessories for the Monroe and Main Fall Collection can add the finishing touch to any outfit. What I like is that most of their scarves are quite inexpensive but have the “wow”  factor of scarves in the $50-$150 range.  While we have this closeup of the jacket, just note all the cute detailing on it as well.  Can’t you see how I will be wearing this jacket everywhere?

The Chief Blonde features the gorgeous Faceted Stone Necklace ($29.95)

Above are just a few of the acessories I considered before settling on the necklace and scarf I did choose.

Monroe and Main has Styles and Sizes for All

One aspect I adore about Monroe and Main is that their sizes range from  Small-3X and (6-24). I know quite a few of my blogger friends were thrilled to find the huge range of choices in their size. Monroe and Main also uses models that are representative of how you might look in the clothing. They have an extensive blogger outreach program as well, so you will often see their designs featured around the web on blogs that you love. I think this really helps to know how a company’s clothes will look on you, don’t you think?

I love how you showcased the outfit with the scarf and necklace. I love both. But I think I’m more of a necklace type girl. Love the jacket too. I am so in love with Monroe and Main!

I LOVE the katia sweater because I am tall and need longer length sweaters and this one is acrylic, I can NOT do wool and sometimes that makes it hard to find pretty sweaters like this!

I also would love monroeandmain.com/Masala-Dress.pro?omSource=SLI& out of their fall line. I love the color and that the faux belt cinches your waist. The neckline is also stunning.

The Fan Colorblock Dress is my pick for fall! It’s a chic dress that can go from day to night; from office to party! It’s a flattering new take on the LBD! It would be in heavy rotation in my wardrobe!

Somehow I posted that without meaning to lol – here are the boots – monroeandmain.com/Shoes/Boots/Madison-Boot-By-Monroe-And-Main.pro?fpi=87468&catCd=WW

I’m a skinny jeans and boots girls. I love these boots because I feel like they’re really versatile, I can dress it up or down. As an added bonus “Once Upon A Time” is one of my favorite tv shows and these look very reminiscent of the boots the main character wears which I have been in envy of for two seasons =p
