Jumpsuits for spring, black and more

Kohl’s sent along a gift card and I just had to try the jumpsuit trend that has been all over the runway. Back in the early 80s, jumpsuits of this similar style were very popular (but with HUGE shoulder pads). I love how easy it is to dress a jumpsuit up or down. Just switch out the belts, change up the jacket or wrap, vary the jewelry and you have a different elegant look each time.

You can wear a romper length, a culotte length, or full length as I am here.

While jumpsuits aren’t all that great for bathroom breaks, they are phenomenal for adding a touch of class.  Kohl’s has a huge jumpsuit collection for spring with choices from junior’s, women’s and plus sizes. The best part is many are on clearance, or at great affordabe Kohl’s pricing. Then you can combine coupons, discounts, and free shipping and get 2 or 3!  BAHAHA!

I like the AB Studio Solid Surplice Jumpsuit because it has a simple cut but flattering. And the material looks airy and comfortable for a nice spring day.

OK….I had to pick a jumpsuit for my 8 year old daughter. Because, cute though they are, NONE of these rompers/jumpsuits will look good on me. I just don’t have the shape for it. Too much jiggle in the middle, if you know what I mean.
I chose the Disney D-Signed Crochet Jumpsuit for girls. It’s super cute and I love the belt. I think my daughter would like it (and look adorable in it).

I am not liking the romper on adults look. But, Kohls has tons of cute things 🙂

I like the About a GIrl Pleated Romper because it comes in several colors and it’s not real klingy. It almost looks like a dress.

IZ Byer California Zigzag Jumpsuit I love the black and white.

Although I’m surprised that rompers have come back. I remember how much fun people made of them in the 1980’s and it came and went very quick.

I like the LC Lauren Conrad Floral Romper. It has kind of an easy breezy look to it and would be perfect to wear to our little league games.

To be honest, none of the jumpers or rompers come in plus sizes really. So it doesn’t really matter which one I like, I wouldn’t be able to get one. Luckily Kohls does have some great plus size clothes which is what I’d get with a GC.

I could go for the About A Girl romper. It comes in some good colors, I like the neckline, and I like the length.

You look fantastic in those jumpsuits! I’m too short and squatty to pull one off but love them.
