Jackets for a Northern Spring, Janska Durango

April 5, 2015 By Shelley Zurek 344 Comments

Warm Up the Chilly Spring Days and Nights

Janska Durango jacket Still Blonde after all these Years Women over 45

Finally, it’s 52 degrees outside!! Janska’s first ambassador, Shelley Zurek , the Chief Blonde, was provided this Janska Durango Jacket  in Check ($195). In this photo, she is also wearing Kohls Simply Vera Leather gloves, Bally High Oxfords (), and Monroe and Main Lace scarf  ($25)

Michigan is just starting to think about spring weather. These pictures were taken just after church on Easter Sunday on our back deck. You can see there isn’t a bud yet on the trees.

However, I am smiling because all the snow is gone (fingers-crossed) and I am sporting this gorgeous Janska Durango Coat. I know I tell you that almost every Janska coat is my NEW favorite but this one really is (for now…bahahaha). The Durango Jacket looks awesome with dresses as a car coat OR just as sharp with jeans and boots for heading out to the barn or a spring sporting event.

I like the contrasting cuffs and bottom but you might like the fact that there are hidden pockets or toggle buttons! I am quite sure you are going to love the fact that this warm and cozy coat is machine washable and American made.

If you aren’t into a check pattern (which I totally am), the jacket is available in gray/charcoal gray as well, Small-XL! FYI, this coat in unlined but quite warm all in itself. I would wear it for temperatures that were 40 degrees F and up. I highly recommend this darling jacket.

I like the Cascade Vest. Living in the desert the weather can vary about 60 degrees in a day. So it would be nice to have something that is warm but not too heavy. I like the way it looks.

I would like the Patty Cake Sleeved Poncho. I can’t remember the last all weather coat I had. This would be a treat for those rainy days.

I like the Isabel coat because of the green and black colors and because it is reversible.

I would the “Annie’s Wrap”. The short sleeves give an option of wearing it into spring and I love the red color. I think I could wear this at home and for going out!

I would like to win the EasyWear Jacket. I know it’s not particularly suited to the spring time weather, but I really like it and it suits my style. It also comes in a lot of great colors.

I really love the Eliza jacket. I love that it is reversible, and it looks like it is cut so that it won’t make me look like a blob.

I also really like the Madison Coat for spring. I like the flowiness and the lightweight fabric for spring.
