Warm Up the Chilly Spring Days and Nights
Finally, it’s 52 degrees outside!! Janska’s first ambassador, Shelley Zurek , the Chief Blonde, was provided this Janska Durango Jacket in Check ($195). In this photo, she is also wearing Kohls Simply Vera Leather gloves, Bally High Oxfords (), and Monroe and Main Lace scarf ($25)
Michigan is just starting to think about spring weather. These pictures were taken just after church on Easter Sunday on our back deck. You can see there isn’t a bud yet on the trees.
However, I am smiling because all the snow is gone (fingers-crossed) and I am sporting this gorgeous Janska Durango Coat. I know I tell you that almost every Janska coat is my NEW favorite but this one really is (for now…bahahaha). The Durango Jacket looks awesome with dresses as a car coat OR just as sharp with jeans and boots for heading out to the barn or a spring sporting event.
I like the contrasting cuffs and bottom but you might like the fact that there are hidden pockets or toggle buttons! I am quite sure you are going to love the fact that this warm and cozy coat is machine washable and American made.
If you aren’t into a check pattern (which I totally am), the jacket is available in gray/charcoal gray as well, Small-XL! FYI, this coat in unlined but quite warm all in itself. I would wear it for temperatures that were 40 degrees F and up. I highly recommend this darling jacket.

Has your weather been as crazy as ours….from almost 70 a couple days ago and severe storms to cold and snow this weekend. Can’t put the coats away, but a jacket like this would be great, too. I agree with you, and I like the contrasting trim. My daughter has one with black at the end of the sleeves, but I like how this one also has it at the bottom of the coat. Adds some drama and uniqueness and yay for hidden pockets!
THanks, I love this coat too. Our weather has been insane. Now we just had big wind storms. The power is out everywhere (ours is one thank goodness). We don’t have any TV or internet but I am counting my blessings. SHelley
I love the Janska Durango Jacket in Check! The color is perfect for me and I love the length, it’s long enough to hide my large hips and bottom! I can always find stylish outfits on your blog, thank you!
They have some great outer wear at Janska, I like the Audrey Coat. Thank you for sharing this post.
I love these jackets they are all very chic! I would wear any of them!!
I would choose the Sweet Petunia Hat because I like the flower decoration.
I’d go for the Durango Jacket. Daytime is fine with a long sleeve tee but the nights call for a jacket.
Tacoma Jacket
Pocket Cape With Button. Looks light, soft, casual, and comfortable for spring!
I really like the Boulder Coat because it will be so useful and it looks comfortable. I really need a coat since I am moving from south Florida to NY, brrrrr.
i love the Spitfire Jacket.the color is super pretty and its something that would look great on me
MocSocks Booties because they look warm and comfortable.
I like the Tie Button Jacket because it looks very flattering and perfect for cool crisp spring nights!
I just love it all!
I’d like to win the Eliza jacket because I like the style and it looks comfortable.
The Reader’s Wrap would be great for work. It wouldn’t get in the way when I’m working on the computer but it would keep my neck and shoulders warm when the ac is blasting.
I love all the wraps. I think that the Readers Wrap is my favorite. I think that it would be great to keep on hand for all those cold waiting rooms and restaurants.
