May 21, 2014 By Shelley Zurek 269 Comments

WHAT? You don’t have a Home Inventory?

This is a Fashionista Event and a promotional item was provided to me by HomeZada. Hosts for this event are Still Blonde after all these Years and ModlyChic

Online Home Inventory HomeZada

Do you have an Home Inventory? Is it Online and Safe?

When disaster strikes, will you have a home inventory in a safe place that you can readily access? If the worst happens to your home, can you really create an inventory of your home in your head? Let’s try a little test…list everything that is in your bedroom. Now go in there and see if there is anything you missed!  Quite a few things, right?

An Online Home Inventory is your safest bet for disaster

If all your data is stored in an offsite location and your home is destroyed, you will be able to readily access this information. HomeZada, an online home management solution allows you to take inventory of each room your home FOR FREE and store it all on the HomeZada site. It’s part of the FREE Essentials HomeZada subscription. The home inventory portion includes:

  • Reciepts
  • Warranties and Manuals
  • Room by Room photos
  • Home Inventory

Here’s how an Online Home Inventory on HomeZada works:

still blondeThe Chief Blonde Remarks: I decided to inventory a room to show you how it works. This is a quick inventory of my half-bath.  You can see how useful this information would be in the case of a disaster:

The home inventory list being stored online is a prudent thing to do and have. If something were to happen to my home there is no way I could sit down and create a list of my homes inventory and not leave many many things out.

I like that its more than just an inventory of what you have but has reminders to help you keep up with maintenance. HomeZada provides you reminders as news feed for any upcoming or overdue To Dos, as well as any upcoming warranties about to expire.

I like the Home Inventory feature. I wish I had known about this company when my son lost everything in a fire last year. This company would have been very helpful!

I must admit I’m not exactly a thrifty girl, always end up with more month than money. So, the Home spending feature looks good.

I like how they have an app. Its fadter to use and when you think of something to list instead of sitting down at the computer you can just pull your phone out.
