HomeZada — Online and Mobile Software to Organize and Manage Your Home

HomeZada

HomeZada — A solution to better manage your home!

HomeZada allowed me a premium subscription so that I could try their service and let you know about this  online solution that helps homeowners manage everything about their home in one place. You will find solutions for managing home inventory, home maintenance and home improvements projects and all the finances associated with all these items.

HomeZada features

homezada-dashboard

HomeZada Dashboard —manage your whole home from here.

HomeZada has many features and offers two pricing options.  The Home Essentials portion is FREE!  We love free  and the Essential version includes:

  • Home Inventory (Photos, Receipts, Warranties, Manuals)
  • Property Documents (Insurance / Mortgage Docs, Plans etc.)
  • News & Recommendations (Maintenance, Inventory, and Household Tips
  • Contacts (Directory of Property & Emergency Contacts)
  • Mobile Apps (iPhone, iPad, and Android Apps.)

You can upgrade to the premium version for $5.95/month and gain these additional functions:

  • Home Maintenance — understanding the items in your home and being able to track how to take care of those items and how to alert yourself with the built in calendar and alerts in HomeZada.
  • Home Projects — Managing décor, home remodeling and maintenance projects become difficult, late and over budget if not properly managed.  HomeZada helps manage one or multiple projects and multiple details of the project process.
  • Home Finances — Managing all the financial impact of your possessions, your home maintenance, and home projects can be difficult without the ability to document it all.  Further our homes have values, annual maintenance costs, average spend per month, insurance, value,  buying and selling and more.  Track your home finances in HomeZada.

still blondeThe Chief Blonde Remarks: I found this software to be a breeze to use, and so complete and full I felt like I was opening a never-ending Christmas package. There was just one layer after another of great content and useful tools. You can watch my video walkthrough here: http://screencast.com/t/Gi9BAeP1

I like the home maintenance scheduling the best. We have the hardest time keeping up with the filter changes, various cleaning, etc. This would be very helpful!

I like that you can keep tabs on chores that need to be done. A repair checklist would be wonderful, especially for when we’re at the home depot and need to remember what items we need to get to do the repairs. This could save us time running back & forth to the store.

In the past year, my furnace, fridge, toilet, and AC had to be repaired. I had to add a vent in my bathroom because the steam from the shower was causing mold to grow on the ceiling. Property taxes went up as well as my cable bill. Homezada sounds like a Godsend with keeping all of my household responsibilities in order! Glad I found it.

I like the Automated Home Maintenance Schedules feature. My husband has the tendency to only fix things after they are broken. I think this would help to remind him what and when things need to get done.

We need a home inventory. I have pictures of some stuff…but those pics are on my computer or on a disk. If the place burned down…ooops.

The other stuff might be useful too but that is the biggie.

I really like the Home Inventory feature. We have been discussing the importance of this, however, just haven’t done it. If we had Home Zada, we would certainly get this done very easily! 🙂
