Holiday Cheetah: Jennifer Lopez for Kohls

December 15, 2014 By Shelley Zurek 424 Comments

Cheetah is the New Sparkle for the Holidays

Jennifer Lopez Cheetah Kohls Women over 45 Sonoma BootsThe Chief Blonde is wearing three fabulous holiday pieces provided by Kohls: ($60, Sale $42),  ($85, Sale $50), ($12). Also wearing faux shearling duster coat from Sam’s Club (similar), Monroe and Main Necklace (), wrap bracelet and cuff bracelet.

You know I love “Sparkle” and sequins and Holiday Pink. I do! I do! But sometimes, I want to wear something a little wild and different for the holidays, especially during the daytime. This Holiday Cheetah outfit from Kohl’s is perfect for a brunch or lunch with your girlfriends.

The thing I love about Kohl’s at the holidays or anytime of year is that I can find just the right outfit every time in a price that stuns my friends. I often wear clothes from their Jennifer Lopez line (here), Simply Vera by Vera Wang (here), and I adore all their DesigNation collaborations, like this recent one I modeled for Elie Tahari’s Line for Kohl’s.

And can we just talk for a moment about these ? Perfect heel height, perfect boot height and just the right amount of casual will make these my go to boot this winter. The best feature? For a Michigan winter? They are faux leather which means they will wear and wear and then wipe right off. I detest trashing leather boots with all the snow and salt, don’t you?

Jennifer Lopez Dress

This is so forgiving. It hides what you don’t want everyone  to see, comes in several different colors, and provides just the right amount of holiday “Look at Me” as a substitute for sparkle.

One thing you may not know about me is how much I love a good deal. Trust me when I tell you, I am the deal hound. On this particular look, I shopped on Cyber Monday so I was able to get free shipping and 30% off. My husband swears it’s almost FREE for me to shop at Kohl’s!

Will you be wearing Holiday Cheetah or Animal Print this holiday?

Update: This blog post originally had a $25 Kohls gift Card giveaway attached. The Rafflecopter entry device has been removed and had 6150 entries. See Giveaway Winners.

I really like the look of the Chaps Fit & Flare Sweaterdress. It looks like a fun but classic piece that could be dressed up or down depending on your jewelry and accessories. I would get a lot of wear out of it!

I like the Simply Vera Vera Wang open-work sweater dress. I like that because it’s not too revealing and could easily be worn to a holiday party and other places for years to come. I also like a dress that has long sleeves.

I really like the Expo Soutache Mixed- Media Dress. The one shown is all block, which is totally fine, but I wouldn’t mind a little color either. I love knit tops and skirts, and this give that same illusion. This style can help hide my thicker middle, by showing off what’s not too thick.

I like the Daisy Fuentes ribbed babydoll sweaterdress. It is conservative but form fitting , which is what I like . It would look great with a shawl or scarf.

I love the Chaps Solid Surplice Sweaterdress, not only because surplice looks good on me, but I love the Eggplant color and–importantly!–it would be warm for winter. (That said, I love the Helene Blake Sequin Lace Sheath Dress in Mauve, too, but it’s a bit too expensive for me!)
