Wouldn’t you appreciate a NATURAL Memory Foam Pillow?
Essentia Classic Pillow Review
Essentia Classic Pillow $199
For this Essentia Classic pillow review, I was provided samples for review.
The Chief Blonde Remarks: I was sent an Essentia Classic Pillow for review. I currently sleep on a Latex Pillow so I was excited to contrast the Essentia Classic pillow to my own. The Essentia Classic pillow is made from Natural Memory Foam. Essentia and Tempur-pedic are the only Natural Memory Foam pillow producers in the North America.
What is NATURAL memory foam?
Essentia Natural Memory Foam is is made using hevea milk (rubber tree sap). It feels like the memory foam we all know and love, but it’s made without the gunk. Gunk you say? Yes, other memory foam manufactures claim to have eco memory foam, plant-based foam or containing natural properties, boasting green tea memory foam, Bio-Pur memory foam or soy memory foam. But alas, as noted by Essentia, in all cases, petroleum based foam is used, with 2-15% of the petroleum being replaced with soy or cedar oil, allowing the product to be promoted as “natural” or “eco-friendly”. Not very “Natural” in my book.
Latex Pillows versus Natural Memory Foam Pillows?
Latex mattresses are known for being durable, natural and healthy. Memory foam mattresses are known for their pressure relief and comfort…but are full of gunk. That’s why Essentia invented a natural memory foam. Essentia has an extensive discussion on this topic over on their website which I found fascinating. Yes, it’s a discussion presented by the manufacturer of Natural Memory Foam. I found it to be quite balanced. Read: What’s better, Latex or Memory Foam Mattresses?
My final weigh in of Natural Memory Foam versus Latex
I love my Latex pillow. I have had one since I was tiny due to my excessive allergies to feather pillows. When I tried the Essentia Classic Pillow, I was dubious. The Classic pillow is made from 100% Natural Memory Foam, weighs in at 5 pounds, and is designed to mold itself to your exact body shape to evenly distribute head and neck weight, reducing pressure that often causes stiffness, poor sleep, and pain. Essentia Products are made in Canada
Each night when I slept on the pillow, I had a hard time going to sleep. It was not “My” pillow so I think it took some time to develop a comfortable relationship with it. On the flip side, each morning I woke up from a deep sleep, lovely dreams and no aches and pains. My latex pillows always take some time to get rid of the “Smell” before I can sleep on them. Not true with the Classic Essentia. I slept on it from the first night I received it and noticed no latent smell. My overall opinion? Better than almost all other pillow I have slept on and equivalent to my latex pillow.

I would like the Forma Spa as I am a back and side sleeper and this would be perfect.
I like the Ergonomic Pillow because I sleep on my side and this would be perfect for me
My favourite pillow is the classic, I like that it looks like a normal pillow, I do not like specially shaped pillows. I also love the memory foam which will make it bounce right back into shape.
I’d love to try the Forma Spa revolutionary molded pillow with light neck support since it is designed for side and back sleepers which is how I sleep. I love that it has the added benefits of being specially designed to offer accurate support for both side and back sleepers since I switch back and forth from side to back throughout the night. Also, I like the natural, ribbed texture since it offers me a soft and ventilated comfort which allows the head to breathe.
My favorit pillow is the erogonimic because it will help me with sleeping right and not waking up with neck pain.
The Forma Spa is my favorite because the ribbed texture offers a soft and ventilated comfort. The ventilation would hopefully keep my head cool so I can sleep better
I would like the Forma Spa pillow because I sleep on my back and sometimes on my side. There are times I wake up 5 to 6 times a night trying to get comfortable and I keep bunching up my pillow, this would do the trick.
The SwayBack looks really nice! I could use all the neck support I can get.
I like the Classic one the best but the Ergonomic sounds good too.
Classic because it hypoallergenic for a good nights sleep
My favorite is is the classic pillow it looks comfortable and i like that it molds to your shape
I like this pillow the Classic because it hypoallergenic for a healthy sleep. My pillow needs replaced and at $129 list price I can not get a new one now. This would be a wonderful thing Healthy sleep!
I would have to say the Forma Spa because I need the neck support. I would much rather say the classic, but the sore neck continues to be an issue, so I think i would have to go with the Forma Spa for its light neck support.
Forma Spa is my favorite since it’s made for back & side sleepers and I do both : )
I like the classic pillow, because I’m just a plain jane, and I find classic pillows are best for any sleeping position!
I would like the classic pillow best! It molds to your head by weight. Seems very comfy!
the forma spa is my fav bc im a side sleeper
Id love the comfort b/c it doesn’t weight as much as the others, also I would want it to match my other pillows, so being oddly shaped wouldn’t be idea.
forma spa… i need the neck support.
I really like the Classic Pillow. I’ve had neck and shoulder problems for years that prevents me from falling asleep nightly. I just can’t get comfortable on my pillow. I’ve tried many different pillows, but nothing has helped me. I would love to try this out, it sounds amazing, exactly what I need! It would be so great to actually be able to fall asleep soon after laying down!
