Kids Christmas Food Crafts : Simple Santa Hats via Sweetworks Candy

Christmas Food Crafts for Kids: Santa Hat Cake is a Fashionista Event and a promotional item was provided to me by Sweetworks. Hosts for this event are Still Blonde after all these Years and ModlyChic

Kids craft Santa Hat Cake

Kids love to make Food Crafts for Christmas

When I was little we used to spend hours and hours (or so it seemed) making Christmas cookies. My favorites were the gingerbread men because we would craft so many different kinds. We made football players, hula girls, and just plain crazy deocrated gingerbread men. Kids Christmas food crafts are always a hit in any house with toddlers, kindergartners and kids of really any age. They love that they can make something pretty and the eat it.

Kids craft Santa Hat Cake

This Santa Hat Cake  is a wonderfully fun cake to craft. Especially, because it’s not all homemade. Just buy a simple white cake from the store and then stock up on decorating candy from Sweetworks. The Santa Hat cake incorporated Sweetworks Celebration “Pearls”, Sweetworks Celebration “Gumballs,  and Sweetworks Niagara Foiled Santa and rocking horse.

I remember making all kinds of cookies with my mother around Christmas. I liked the candy cane cookies we made.

I love how you’ve decorated this cake! It’s so fun and festive! Buying a cake and then adding your own decorations is a great idea.

I like easy desserts (no kids) but I don’t like adding more sugar to an already sugary cake.

What fun! We’ve done something similar….but not quite so elaborate…as something for the kids to do.
