We often go to church, come home, eat, read the Christmas Story, open presents, and then have dessert.  As this is a celebration for me as well as the family, the meal is usually simple or take out, so that I don’t have to do a bunch of extra work.

Sesame chicken on Christmas Eve but not for Christmas dinner. The salt count on most frozen foods is what would give me pause.
