We have always done our presents with our children on Christmas eve.  This allows us some needed family time. We often go to church, come home, eat, read the Christmas Story, open presents, and then have dessert.  As this is a celebration for me as well as the family, the meal is usually simple or take out, so that I don’t have to do a bunch of extra work.

    I like chinese food and Orange Chicken is a favorite dish. I am happy to see they offer it, Beef Mongolian, and Sesame Chicken. Rice is good for dieters and a favorite side dish in our household.

    I already have a ham for Christmas but I think the shrimp stir fry would be great for the day after Christmas- much lighter and so tasty.
