Ahhhh Fall! Is there anything like it? In Michigan, autumn is a special time, a sense of melancholy mixed with an exuberance of color bursting out from every vista. It’s the time of year when I carry all my summer clothes up to a distant closet and drag out jackets, cardigans, and suedes.

In Michigan, we are really blessed to have super warm days (in the high 70s) and then with the blink of an eye, the temperature plummets into the 50s. You have to be ready for anything.
