The Best Fashion Accessory, Fashionista Style Hop 12-17

December 17, 2013 By Shelley Zurek 32 Comments

A Good Man Makes Any Outfit Complete

The Best Accessory

The Chief Blonde is wearing: Black Louise Paris Faux Leather Jacket ( see here, buy similar here); Purple sweater, black wool skirt, tights and boots all from Loft; Brighton Lorna Bag. Walt, the Chief Blonde’s husband, is the perfect “Arm Candy” and the best fashion accessory!

The Best Fashion Accessory

Many people talk and argue about their favorite accessory but I think no one can disagree that a good man makes every outfit and woman their best. Walt and I have been married for 15 years this Jan. 1, 2014. During that time, we have raised four kids (two his, two mine), built a house, owned multiple mini-vans, went into the “Landlord” business, and traveled all over the US. He makes me laugh for all my blog pictures and makes me feel the prettiest a woman can be!

A good man isn’t really an accessory but you know what I mean right? No outfit that I wear is really complete until he is by my side. That makes me plaster a goofy smile on my face and makes my whole being shine. No man-made accessory can compete with that, right?

The Fashionista Style Hop

A group of my Fashionista friends and I get together each for the Fashionista Style Hop some weeks the style hop is sponsored with a giveaway, some weeks we get to discover all the fashion of beauties all over the internet.  No matter what we have going on, we are certain you will love what you see here and want to participate in our great giveaways or link up your look to the style hop!

I guess the most memorable shoe purchase would be the time I picked out a pair of shoes on clearance (size 8) and got home and found out the one I tried on was a size 8 and the other shoe in the box was a size 6…live and learn 🙂

Congratulations on your upcoming anniversary – and on finding a real keeper of a husband! My favorite pair are my most recent acquisition; a pair of over-the-knee high-heeled black boots 😉

Still don’t have The Dress, but found The Shoes way before I needed them. I used to go visit The Shoes until I finally got them. I would say I’m going to Bloomies. Friends would ask, ‘To visit the shoes?’ Stuart Weiztman, I love you! thnx! E

When I was in high school I bought a pair of blue plastic pumps that glittered like the ruby slippers (except in blue).

I remember buying my most favorite pair of boots EVER! They were on an AMAZING sale and actually in big foot size(perfect for me) so I went to the front desk to buy them and when they scanned them they were even cheaper!!!!!!! So I got a pair of 400 dollar shoes for 20 bucks. I miss those dang shoes.
