My 2016 Exercise Solution (It’s Not What You Think)

January 2, 2016 By Shelley Zurek 89 Comments

What’s Your 2016 Exercise Solution?

Today’s discussion of 2016 Exercise Solution is brought to you by Socialstars and Poise.  #LadiesWithPoise

Exercise Solution 2016 Poise Impressa

Like everyone else, I need to get my body in shape. The years have crept up on me and the holidays weren’t helpful. Luckily, we have no lack of exercise equipment in our home given that three boys and Walt have lived here for 17 years. While we have some great options, I am not much of free weight or machine person.

I do like our treadmill and I may be hitting that regularly to get in my 10,000 steps. But chances are I will be mostly using this little device (below) that I received to review several years ago called a Journey Gym. It’s lightweight, portable, comes with great instructions, pairs up with a video channel, and has multiple exercises that I can do for a totally body workout.

It’s a problem solver as I can take it anywhere in the house or bring along when Walt and I travel. It’s like having a gym in a suitcase.

Exercise—Uggh!

You know what I hate about exercise of any type? Exercise can often lead to Light Bladder Leakage (LBL). Simple movements, jumping, walking, and running can all lead to Urinary Incontinence or LBL. Women really need an exercise solution for this very common problem. LBL affects millions of women. In fact, a third of your friends are probably experiencing this same issue when they exercise.

2016 Exercise Solution — Poise* Impressa* Bladder Supports.

A 2016 exercise solution that may be unexpected is the Poise* Impressa* Bladder Supports. Impressa Bladder Supports are designed to offer discrete, comfortable protection that stays in place, so you can have the freedom to continue your daily activities without having to worry about unexpected leaks.

A leader in the light incontinence category, Poise has recently introduced Impressa Bladder Supports. They are the first over-the-counter internal product (inserted like a tampon) that addresses leaks for up to 8 hours. Poise Impressa Bladder Supports gently lift, or support, the urethra to help stop unexpected leaks. (Pssst…9 out of 10 women say their bladder leakage was reduced or stopped using Impressa.)

Just like the Journey Gym provides a work-out solution for many, Impressa Bladder Supports provides an exercise solution that makes working out more enjoyable and carefree.

Need more Info to get the 2016 Exercise Solution?

Head over to Impressa for more information on how to keep those New Year’s exercise resolutions by getting informed on light bladder leakage and to learn how Poise Impressa Bladder Supports can help you enjoy your exercise routines again.

Exercise is an important part of a healthy routine so it’s good that Poise is there to erm, keep things where they belong. Good luck with your 2016 goals.

That looks like an interesting piece of equipment. I like the idea of not having so many things piled up.

Happy New Year and good luck to you! It’s hard to keep up and stay motivated. I’m glad you found the Journey gym. I will have to look into it. I have really enjoyed and been impressed with your openness and directness about bladder leakage. It is a real problem that we try to hide when it really needs to be discussed. Thank you for bringing awareness to it.

The Journey gym sounds awesome. As for me, I am sticking with what worked in 2015 – zumba.

It’s great to know that there are now many options for those who are suffering from bladder leakage. I will let my aunt know about this.

Since having my wonderful body tearing up children, i experience some leakage. I received a coupon for the Poise Impressa but haven’t used it yet. Now is probably a good time because i made a resolution this year to get my butt in shape!

I don’t worry about bladder leakage it’s my uterus that leaks fluid from time to time, wonder if that affects it at all. Kegel has no affect. I try getting my daughter out to walk almost every day as we homeschool and only have car access during the weekends when my husband comes home.

I have waited my whole life to be done with periods and tampons. Yes I have LBL and probably more like HBL, lol I choose to take medications to help stop the bladder leakage as I am NOT going to wear any internal device that reminds me of and feels like a tampon!

Very nice post? Why don’t you like lifting weights? I used to feel that way until I bought 12 personal training sessions back in Aug at my gym. Now, I see how my body has changed since then, I don’t lift heavy but lifting weights certainly has burned the fat, something cardio has never done. I was sold when I was able to fit into my size 4 jeans, something I haven’t been able to do in years. Best of luck to you in 2016!
