Honestly, none of those dresses on the link work for me.
I’m a plus sized woman and even when I was tinier, I only wear dresses or skirts that almost go to my ankles. The bohemian style ones or maxi dresses, for instance.
It has to do with a horror story I heard when I was a young adult of a co-worker who wore dresses and pantyhose and no underwear.
Long story short, she ended up walking through the building from the bathrooms to the office past all the military recruiting offices with her dress tucked up in the back into her hose. ALL the walls were glass.
Since that story, I would only wear ones when I can feel the material on the back of my calves or I am constantly checking to make sure I pulled my dress/skirt down. My sister’s wedding was a real joy up there on the altar not able to keep tugging at my dress.
I mean, I KNEW that it was OK but the compulsion was still there.
The lady this happened to was something of a free spirit and definitely a good sport. One year for Christmas, they gave her a Barbie doll with her dress tucked up into the back of her tights.
