Winter’s Coming! I’m Planning My Getaway now!
This is a Fashionista Event and a promotional item was provided to me. Hosts for this event are Still Blonde after all these Years and ModlyChic
I’m outta here!
Can you feel it? The snow is coming, the winter cold, and all the slushy yuck! I am a “One Day is Enough” winter person. Get a few outfit shots in the lovely pristine snow and then I am over it! My mind starts drifting to sundresses and sandals or at the very least, light cardigans and darling leather boots.
Since I live in Michigan, the reality is that winter lasts four months+. So I have to plan trips with Walt to bust out of here or I go MAD! This year we are eyeing a trip back to Charleston, SC. It’s just gorgeous there and we adore the architecture.
Where to Stay in Charleston?
This time when Walt and I return to Charleston, we have our eye on staying at the Hyatt House Charleston/Historic District.

What we are looking forward to in the Charleston – Historic District Hyatt House is the location! It’s centrally located in the heart of the Upper King Historic District with over 30 bars and restaurants less than a 10-minute walk away. Charleston, rated the #1 City to visit in America, has convenient access to beautiful beaches, iconic attractions, and unique festivals. The Charleston – Historic District Hyatt House is in the middle of it all it seems to us. PLUS, and this is the deciding factor for me, the Hyatt House has contemporary apartment-style suites. Walt and I can enjoy one-bedroom suites with kitchens and separate living spaces. I’m all about elegance and comfort.

Other bonus features I noticed for the Charleston – Historic District Hyatt House was that if I book directly at Hyatt.com I get the Best Rate Guarantee (we all know how I like to save money). I also noticed that there is free Wifi at all Hyatt Hotels–don’t you just HATE IT when a hotel charges you a massive fee for internet?

The Park Hyatt Beaver Creek Resort and Spa seems lovely. Going skiing seems like tons of fun, and there are plenty of places to do it in Colorado.
It’s so hard to pick one! I might stay at the Hyatt House Chicago.
Opps, forgot to mention why.
I’ve always wanted to visit Chicago, and unlike some people who go to warm places during winter, I love the cold and snow, so if I go anywhere, I’ll likely head north.
I would use it to stay at the Chicago Schumburg location and I would use it here when I visit my friend.
I would LOVE to go Vegas with hubs, so the Hyatt Place Las Vegas would be wonderful! (Or Florida, or NOLA, or Charleston… or Sao Paolo or Buenos Aires, or… 🙂 )
For the Snow, I would def. choose the Hyat Lake Tahoe Resort. Ski, Play, and Stay. Great Vacation for sure!!!
I would love to go to Hyatt Place Charleston Historic District. That would be amazing!
Would love to stay at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress in Orlando, Florida and go back to Disney World while there.

Miami Hyatt might be a nice change of pace from Seattle!
I would love to stay at the Hyatt in Rochester, NY; my father died and my mother moved upstate to be with my brother and sister…love to see them for my birthday coming up next month!
I would stay at the Hyatt Escala Lodge at Park City because I have family in Utah I’d like to visit.
The Hyatt Place Fort Myers in Florida would be my destination of choice, so I could spend time nature watching at The Ding Darling Wildlife Refuge on Sanibel Island. What a dream…
Tahoe would be great!!!
I’d choose Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort, Casino and Spa, so I could see my daughter.
I want to stay at the Andaz Napa because I’ve always wanted to visit the Napa Valley!
I’d love to stay at the Hyatt Place Las Vegas because my daughter lives there, her husband is military, and I haven’t seen her in over 3 years.
I would like to visit Saratoga, New York.
I’d love to go to the Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort, Casino and Spa. The lake Tahoe area is just absolutely gorgeous!
I would love to go to Hyatt Escala Lodge at Park City. Colorado is a beautiful state and with the sales at this Hyatt, it would be wonderful to go sking!
