Winter’s Coming! I’m Planning My Getaway now!
This is a Fashionista Event and a promotional item was provided to me. Hosts for this event are Still Blonde after all these Years and ModlyChic
I’m outta here!
Can you feel it? The snow is coming, the winter cold, and all the slushy yuck! I am a “One Day is Enough” winter person. Get a few outfit shots in the lovely pristine snow and then I am over it! My mind starts drifting to sundresses and sandals or at the very least, light cardigans and darling leather boots.
Since I live in Michigan, the reality is that winter lasts four months+. So I have to plan trips with Walt to bust out of here or I go MAD! This year we are eyeing a trip back to Charleston, SC. It’s just gorgeous there and we adore the architecture.
Where to Stay in Charleston?
This time when Walt and I return to Charleston, we have our eye on staying at the Hyatt House Charleston/Historic District.

What we are looking forward to in the Charleston – Historic District Hyatt House is the location! It’s centrally located in the heart of the Upper King Historic District with over 30 bars and restaurants less than a 10-minute walk away. Charleston, rated the #1 City to visit in America, has convenient access to beautiful beaches, iconic attractions, and unique festivals. The Charleston – Historic District Hyatt House is in the middle of it all it seems to us. PLUS, and this is the deciding factor for me, the Hyatt House has contemporary apartment-style suites. Walt and I can enjoy one-bedroom suites with kitchens and separate living spaces. I’m all about elegance and comfort.

Other bonus features I noticed for the Charleston – Historic District Hyatt House was that if I book directly at Hyatt.com I get the Best Rate Guarantee (we all know how I like to save money). I also noticed that there is free Wifi at all Hyatt Hotels–don’t you just HATE IT when a hotel charges you a massive fee for internet?

Hyatt Place Las Vegas. It would be nice to have a few nights of a stay-cation away with a friend.
The Hyatt Las Vegas would be my choice. We have family living in LV and we haven’t been able to visit for a while.
The Hyatt Regency Newport because we enjoy taking a winter trip there and spend time in Maine too.
i would like to stay at Hyatt Centric South Beach Miami because its freezing in saskatchewan and I love warm weather and cute guys and great hospitality like at this hyatt which iam sure they have
I recently spent a month working in SC as a disaster response manager, and had 2 days off and went Bananas on both of them, eating and drinking my way through SC- including the Tea Plantation and the nearby Firefly Distillery that makes Tea Vodka and Whiskey from the tea plantation tea- and really good wine, too! And, OH, the food!!!! FIG in Charleston was amaaaaaazing! And the distilleries in Charleston, too! LOVE Charleston and Summerville and Columbia, SC- true foodie paradises!!
Either Andaz Savannah, GA or Hyatt Place Charleston, SC Historic District. Love these historic southern cities!!!
I would love to stay at the Hyatt House Seattle Downtown. That would be so SWEET!
The Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort in Nevada sounds great because I’ve never been to Las Vegas & I’d love to go!!!
I think I’d pick Cincinnati or Nashville!!! That’d be a fun little get-away!!! And MUCH needed!!! Thanks!!!!!! 🙂
Colorado Springs, CO because I’ve never been there before.
I would love to stay at the Hyatt Palm Springs since I have never been to Palm Springs, CA before. In addition, I am already tired of the cold and snow in the Northwest. I would just love to be able to visit a warm place during the winter months to break up the monotony of the long winter.

I would choose the Hyatt Orlando because it is WARM there. So cold. So cold here, and I wish for warmth 😀
I want to stay at Hyatt House Chicago/Schaumburg, because Chicago is my favorite city.
I’d love to stay in the Hyatt French quarter and have some beignets!
Hyatt Regency Newport Beach would be so wonderful for a beach vacation near family.
The snow resort I would love is the Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort, Casino and Spa because it has a spa for me and a casino for the hubby. The best of both worlds. Thanks!
Hyatt Place Nashville/Opryland—-I spent a few nights in Nashville years ago and have wanted to go back ever since. So much fun and such nice people.
Hyatt centric South beach Miami
I’d like the Park Hyatt Beaver Creek Resort and Spa because it looks beautiful and relaxing
