Getaway with Covered Perfectly

March 4, 2014 By Shelley Zurek 388 Comments

Stunningly Perfect for a Cruise

cOVERED PERFECTLY collage Fashionsta Events 2014

The Chief Blonde is wearing: “In Spirit” by Mindy from Covered Perfectly ($49.95),  Silver and Turquoise Necklace (similar), Simply Bracelets Star fish Bracelet  ($19.95), Serena Williams Ring ($65).

Recently, we cruised the Caribbean to get away from the winter blahs in Michigan. Packing is always an issue as you want to take a lot of different outfits. However once you cram all those clothes in your suitcase, you end up with a rumpled mess.  Luckily, this time I packed 3 tops from Covered Perfectly. They easily took me through the cruise and looked just right, any way I wore them.

The “In Spirit” Top, featured in the photo above fits so well. It’s a sharp dark black color with a vibrant exclusive Limited Edition “In Spirit” design by world renowned artist, Mindy Seeger. I loved the WOW factor of this blouse. I had these pictures taken by the ship’s photographer and felt like I turned quite a few heads as I walked down the ship’s corridors in this beauty! Psst: don’t tell anyone but the soft luxurious Micromodal material makes it feel like you are wearing PJs instead of a dressy top!

Perfect Fit for all your Bits

Covered Perfectly — Fashionisita Preview

We worked with Covered Perfectly for our Fashionista Events Giveaway (March 6-14). Katy, my Fashionista Co-host,  just posted her personal style twists of three great Covered Perfectly Tops over on Modly Chic. Now it’s my turn to show you how I styled (and enjoyed) the 3 Covered Perfectly Tops that I was provided to wear on a recent caribbean cruise and a trip to Alabama.

Covered Perfectly Open Collar

The Chief Blonde is wearing the Covered Perfectly Open Collar top ($49.95), Scottevest Travel Vest ($125), Fossil Sunglasses (similar), Scala Packable hat, Leggings–Sam’s Club (similar).

I thought this open collar would be my favorite of the three tops when I ordered it. I wasn’t disappointed (although my favorite is below)! The color was fantastic. The cut was perfect for casual wear as I show it above on the beaches of Gulf Shore and would have also looked great with a beautiful statement necklace as the collar lays open so perfectly!

Covered Perfectly WrapoverThe Chief Blonde is wearing Covered Perfectly Wrapover ($59.95), Betsy Johnson Necklace (similar), Simply Bracelets Teal Enamel Bangle ($19.95), Jennifer Lopez for Kohls Shorts,  Cinzia sunglasses (similar)

This Wrapover top was chosen for me by Pauline Durbin, owner of Covered Perfectly! I have to say she knows her tops as this one was my absolute favorite (hands down). I loved the drape, how elegant it made me feel and how skinny it made me look. While it looked great with my dressy shorts, I can see it looking elegant with silk pants or a pencil skirt as well.

Check out Covered Perfectly for yourself

Some great aspects of the tops that you will love is:

  • US made
  • Ships free (both ways) to US, $14.95 to Canada and Mexico and $19.95 to the rest of the world
