The Black Diamond Forge Hybrid down jacket definitely struck my eye! I work as a Forester, meaning outdoors rain or shine 40+ hours a week (plus the weekend warrior adventure treks my rad little family takes on the regular). A solid down jacket is a god send in the approaching winter months and this one comes with a stinkin HOOD! *que heavenly music*
Thanks for not only pointing out that awesome assembly of womens winter goodies, but offering up a shot at taking home our favorite! Cheers!

I like the Arctic Down Parka in Graphite Grey Heather color. My preference is for a parka with a hood and long enough to cover my hips….for total warmth.

I like this Marmot Laura Down Coat – 700 Fill Power because its about 50% off and it will cover my buttocks. At 700 fill it must be very warm as well.

There are at least two winter jackets I like: 1) the Outdoor Research Aria Storm Parka – mainly because I like the looks of it – it’s longer and is available in two different shades of brown, and it has goose down insulation; and 2) the Mountain Hardwear Potrero Parka – also because I like the style – it is longer (to help keep the cold out!), it has a fur-lined (cute!) removable hood, adjustable waist tabs, and a tulip hem in the back (longer and rounded). They both seem to be made very well with special features to help keep out the cold and wind (aside from the type of insulation), AND lastly (!), they’re both 56% off, $129.99, so they’re a great deal!
