Are you Cheesy?
Today’s Best Cheeseburger Recipes discussion has been brought to you by Kraft.
Mine and Kraft’s Best Cheeseburger Recipes
There is nothing quite as satisfying as a good old-fashioned cheeseburger. At our house, we have our own special recipe — as many people do — which we put to good use regularly during grilling season. Is a barbecue even a barbecue without cheeseburgers? Not really. Here’s Walt’s favorite cheeseburger recipe:
- 8 Hamburger Patties (90/10 is what we perfer)
- 8 Whole Wheat Buns
- 8 slices Kraft Natural Aged Swiss Cheese slices
- Bleu cheese for sprinkling
- 8 slices of bacon cooked and halved
- Barbecue sauce
- Grill burgers
- In last 2 minutes of grilling, layer swiss cheese slices on burgers
- Grill Buns
- Plate burgers and buns
- Serve burgers with a sprinkling of bleu cheese, 2 half slices of bacon, and a squirt of barbecue sauce.
While we’re on the subject, is a barbecue a barbecue without some good music? Heck no! How about some Brad Paisley? You bet!
While we do tend to stick with our favorite cheeseburgers, we do like to try out new recipes from time to time. That’s why I was curious to see what kind of cheeseburger recipes Kraft had to offer. And, boy, they did not disappoint!

One cheeseburger recipe we’ll surely be trying out soon is the Cabo Beach Cheeseburger, with avocado, cilantro, and chipotle-flavored mayo. Holy moly! If that burger looks good to you, you can get the Cabo Beach Cheeseburger recipe, and others, including the BBQ Bacon Habanero Cheeseburger and Touchdown Taco Sliders. You will really take your cheeseburgers to a new level with Kraft Pepper Jack Cheese Slices and Hot Habanero Slices. Yum!

THIS recipe sounds very good, making me hungry
We usually make traditional home burgers with lots of toppings. And tomatoes are a must!
That walt’s burger looks really good though.
We like to make a simple burger with home grown beef, pickles, ketchup, mustard and cheese.
I am a cheeseburger fanatic! My fav is to bake the patties in the oven with garlic powder, ground pepper, & dehydrated onions. A super soft potato bun with mayo & red onion-yummm
You had me up till the Kraft Swiss cheese. Make mine Aged Cheddar please.
I love the photos of those great looking cheeseburgers. My favorite cheeseburger is a bacon double cheeseburger with tomato and mustard.
Yum, this looks amazing! Toast those buns in a little butter, and I’m on board!
I always add a little bread crumbs and Worcestershire in my hamburger because my Mom has a hard time chewing the burger without the bread crumbs. I top them with sliced cheddar and she is a happy camper.
I’ve tried many different recipes for the perfect cheeseburger but I think I’ve come back to the basics. Just ground beef, salt, pepper, finely minced onion. Mix it up and fried in butter. Topped with cheddar (and bacon sometimes). Yum.
Brad Paisley? Heck no, I’ll take George Strait.
I love Bleu Cheese, so this recipe is right up my alley. With the addition of the avocado – you have a winner!
I seriously LOVE cheese but Bleu cheese is just one cheese I can’t be friends with! But other than that the recipe looks amazing!! Great share!
I make mine with country bobs and a gluten free bun!
I love any burger without bacon!
I just like a good old American burger – love it and enjoy every bite of it
I love a good mushroom and swiss burger, but I also love a classic American burger with some Kraft Cheddar cheese and avocado. I’m thinking the Cabo might be right up my alley!
Our burgers are made with venison and good ole Kraft American slices. I do like the sound of avocado and bacon on a burger though – mmmmmmm
I love green chili strips and bacon on my burger or a cowboy burger with BBQ sauce and onion rings. I am always looking for new recipes though since cheeseburgers are the most requested meal in my house. Thanks!
Cabo Beach sounds good with a veggie burger! 🙂
Cabo Beach Cheeseburger looks delicious!
I want to try those Touchdown Taco Sliders!
