Winter Pink will take you through the holidays and beyond
This is a Fashionista Event Opportunity, and is hosted by Still Blonde after all these YEARS and Modly Chic
Monroe and Main sent us several outfit pieces to showcase for the Holidays. The Chief Blonde is wearing 1st Picture: Monroe and Main Gala Lace Skirt ($60), Midnight Velvet Soft Sophisticate Top ($50), Sterling Forever Jewelry (featured here), Monroe and Main Metal Mesh Bag ($40), Vintage Pedrino Boots (similar) 2nd Photo: Monroe and Main Gala Lace Skirt ($60), Monroe and Main Gala Tux Jacket ($80), C. Wonder belt (similar), Monroe and Main Gold and Rhinestone Necklace ($35, sale: $17), Shoes from Sears (Sold out–similar)
Whether you need Transitional or Versatile
We all need transitional pieces that can take us from fall to winter, from winter to spring. As well, we need versatile clothing where we can change it up, use it for various occasions on the same day, and extend the wear of the item throughout the season and even for years beyond. That is especially true for holiday clothing choices.
I always love pink for the holidays. It’s soft and surprising, a great variation on red and sparkle. Winter pink is extra special and it plays wonderfully against black. In my outfit above, I love the way this black lace overlays the lovely pink lining, don’t you? And what could be more elegant than pairing the look with sheer hoses and elegant d’orsey style pumps? I like this above look for a fancy business party, an evening Christmas church service, or even a visit to Nutcracker ballet.
In this “Going to church Look”, the Chief Blonde is wearing a MaxMara wool Coat (similar), Monroe and Main pink scarf ($25), and her favorite tote–the Michael Kors Jet Set Multi-functional Tote ($298).
Winter Pink from Thanksgiving to Valentines Day
Can’t you just see how easy these Monroe and Main pieces are to wear? They sit just right and the pink is soft, beautiful and feminine. This skirt is especially wonderful, because it is a tad longer in the back then the front. Not a true hi-lo (which I don’t like) skirt but it just has enough extra length where the skirt hits in the back to say “YES, I could wear this to meet the Queen.”

Outfit Outtakes–Just so you know…
As the weather was brutal in Michigan (think NO SUN FOR DAYS)….we headed out to a local nursery to get these shots. You would have died laughing at Walt and me moving around the Poinsettias and pricing signs. Yeah, this is what I do to get the shot for you guys!
We have worked with Monroe and Main frequently. Look over all our Monroe and Main reviews.

I hadn’t thought about pink for the holidays, but I do like how it looks with the poinsettias in the background. The blazer with the black trim is really nice, too, and could be changed up from work to out.
What a wonderful skirt! It would be so much fun to wear to a Christmas party.
I just Love this Pink and Black lace outfit!! Looks so Lovely on you! Monroe & Main sure have some lovely clothes.
I love the pink and black together. I think they look real classy. I have no reason to dress up now that I’m unable to work but I remember being stylish.
You look beautiful in that outfit…I, however, would not. Lucky you.
Thank you Carla!! Let me know if I can ever help you find an outfit. I would be glad to help you find something your might enjoy. The Chief Blonde
Looks great, I need to try this winter pink instead of red the usual holiday color. Thanks for sharing.
