Rock the Final 45 Days! 3 End of Summer Fashion Trends
This is a Fashionista Events opportunity.
End of Summer Fashion Trends #1 Bridal White
($238 Nordstrom)
There is something extra special about fashion trends that can stand the test of time. For example, take the trend of bridal white pieces. It’s considered elaborate and chic but I’ll go on further — timeless. White has such a clean, fresh feel; it’s awful difficult to not feel dressed up and sophisticated when you’re wearing a crisp white blouse or a stunning white dress.
($339 Zales)
As far as accessories go, a beautiful pair of delicate drop earrings in silver perfectly complement the ensemble.
End of Summer Fashion Trends #2 Shoulder-baring
($158, Nordstrom)
Shoulder-baring fashion is so popular right now! You can show one shoulder, or both, and look sexy yet polished at the same time. Since you’ll be drawing the eye to your shoulders, you might want to do two things to ensure that you’re looking your best. You can apply some bronzer or powder to your shoulders to create a warm glow, and you can add some jewelry that will kick it up a notch.
($159, Zales)
Elaborate bling is perfect for this fashion statement — you can wear long, elaborate earrings that practically (or do!) graze the shoulder, along with a delicate statement necklace. Nothing too dramatic, or you’ll detract from your shoulder bearing dress!
End of Summer Fashion Trends #3 Gingham
($128, Nordstrom)
And, finally, my favorite fashion trend — gingham! I love how this hearkens back to another era when fashion was such a huge part of our culture. No worries, though. You can find plenty of gingham pieces that are right on-trend now. You can wear retro-inspired fashion without looking old-fashioned!
($80, Zales)
Because gingham has a retro/vintage feel, your accessories should as well. Keep it simple and elegant, like a pair of stud earrings (with diamonds or pearls) and a pendant necklace.

wow! these are classic summer looks that easily transition into fall. i love the jewelry choices for an added pop!
That black and white dress is ADORABLE! That would take me from the office to a garden party to drinks after work! Not that I go to many garden parties, but you know …lol
Super cute jewelry, too!
I love the embroidered sheath dress so much! I would totally wear that to a wedding this summer.
I totally love that white dress!! I don’t wear white dresses often, but now I want to after seeing how pretty that one is.
I love your stylish ideas. The gingham prints are my favorites styles lately. It’s such a classic print!
I have always been a fan of gingham- I have a few favorite pieces in my wardrobe with that print right now! Thanks for sharing the video and roundup of end of Summer trends, I always wonder how to transition into Fall more smoothly.
Lovely the styles you shared. I write about the design space so seeing fashion styles always gives me ideas when it comes to room design.
I’ve never cared for gingham, but I love the floral Maxi dress and those leaf drop earrings have my name written all over them.
I love all of the end of Summer dresses with the gorgeous earrings, and these would all be great to wear to a Summer party or wedding. I like the first dress the best!!
I adore that sheath dress. It is so modest, yet very feminine and sexy. Drop earrings are my favorite!
I like the first two trends. The second dress looks flowy, soft, and a wonderful thing to wear to celebrate summer. The first dress is something you could easily play up and make elegant with those earrings. I’m not a fan of gingham but I’m sure someone could pull it off.
Those freshwater pearl earrings are so lovely. When I buy jewelry, I always go for pearls because of its classic and elegant beauty.
Gingham is one of my favorite retro trends as well. And you can never go wrong with Audrey Hepburn-type pearl earrings!!
Really awesome clothes! I love that white dress!
I really love the Eliza J Print Chiffon Maxi Dress!! It is so feminine and pretty!!
I LOVE the long pink floral dress. The length is so my style!
I love the shoulder baring dress. It’s gorgeous and something I would wear year round, considering I live in Miami.
I have to admit that I’m not a big fan of gingham. The other two trends I could do though. And I love anything that sparkles!
I’m so in love with dress #2 it’s incredible! Although I’m not quite sure if that lovely pink color would suit my very fair skin, but that dress is To. Die. For! Speaking of end of the Summer, I can’t believe it’s already here!
I love that pink maxi dress and the gingham dress! And you’re right, when I hear the word “gingham” I think of the 1950s. 🙂
