The Versatile Pencil Skirt from Covered Perfectly

September 14, 2015 By Shelley Zurek 74 Comments

Go from Day into Night with a Versatile Covered Perfectly Pencil Skirt

Covered Perfectly Pencil Skirt Leopard black Houndstooth Fashion for Women over 40

Look what Covered Perfectly sent along for us to review! The Chief Blonde is wearing the Covered Perfectly Pencil Skirt in three prints (Black, Hounds-tooth, and Leopard $29.95).

1969 Beauty Jet SettingLipstick Feature:  The Chief Blonde is was sent 1969 Beauty Lipstick in Jet Setting ($12.69) for her review. 1969 Beauty lipsticks are Highly Pigmented, long-lasting gluten free and infused with vitamin E to create a smooth and silky application with out drying or chapping the lips. 1969 Beauty products are not tested on animals. At the moment, this lipstick is my favorite red.  Love how wonderfully bright it is for pictures!

I got these cute little pencil skirts in 3 colors/prints at the beginning of summer as review items from Covered Perfectly and have been wearing them on repeat ever since. With the weight of the skirt, I can continue wearing them right into fall and winter with hose and tights.

Check out this video to see all the fun ways I styled the Covered Perfectly pencil skirt!

When you first see the Covered Perfectly pencil skirt, you will think…umm, no…that will never fit me. But once you slip it on (perhaps over some shapewear to smooth), you will feel like a woman in charge. I ordered my regular size (small) and the pencil skirt fit perfectly. This pencil skirt has a wide elasticated band for extra comfort and the waist band doesn’t roll. You will find the skirts (currently in three colors/patterns) super packable and versatile.

Listen to what one Covered Perfectly reviewer had to say Covered Perfectly pencil skirts:

I ordered a large in the leopard and the checked skirt. When I opened the package, I was disappointed. I said, no way are these going to fit me! I’m a curvy size 14 – 53 YO – and have the middle age pot (not bad but still a pot). I decided to wait until the morning – all showered – hair done – and tried on with tights, boots and a top. OMG! They both look awesome on and my husband – who is THE most honest person and WILL tell me if I don’t look good – said it looked like I dropped 2 sizes!

Isn’t that a great customer review?

You’ve inspired me to drag out my black pencil skirt, and see what new ways I can accessorize it! You look great in it!

I love this look – but I’m afraid my pencil is a lot chubbier than yours. Good fashion ideas, though.

CUTE! I would be inclined to say “absolutely not” to a pencil skirt but as you point out – you never know – and if it’s made well, that’s a plus!

Stunning! I don’t get dressed up too often, but I LOVE the cascading vest, although I don’t wear leggings because they make me look like Kermit.

Made in USA!!!! Awesome. The black looks so sleek; worn with a black top and I thought it was a dress. I can easily see how the prints could be versatile. The leopard would be fun with tall boots for a night out.

I love these pencil skirts and how you are styling them. I am going on a cruise of the Pacific Coast and intend to get 2-3 of these to wear to keep my packing light. I hate shorts.
