Spring Trend: The Sweatshirt Dress

March 1, 2018 By Elise Mansour 201 Comments

Will you be wearing the Sweatshirt Dress this spring?

Starter Sweatshirt dress
I am working with Amazon Fashion. They sent along this darling STARTER Sweatshirt dress for me to style.

The Sweatshirt dress has come on strong this spring. It’s the cutest trend. You look fun and sporty but WOW, so comfy. It’s like wearing PJs all day and no one ever suspects. This STARTER sweatshirt dress was especially fun to work with as it’s the perfect length, looks good dressed up or down, and it’s the traditional sweatshirt grey.

I won’t be wearing hoodie dresses because they just fall wrong on me–I’m short and pear shaped and anything with a band below the hip area is never going to fall straight on me like the model! Plus I never feel like the weather is right for it.

I really like the Cheap Monday Women’s Take Short Sleeve Sweatshirt Dress because of the distressed look! And since it has short sleeves it wouldn’t be too warm. Too bad they only have it in XS!

I am really liking the Blanc Noir Sweatshirt dress in both the black and heather grey. It’s a little juniorish for me, but I still think it’s really cute! The sheer panels on the dress add a little extra style.

I like the Pink Lotus right moves sweatshirt dress. I like the tie at the waist so it just doesn’t hang and gives some form.

Roxy Women’s Trippin Sherpa Zip up Fleece Sweatshirt

This is one I like. That Sweatshirt dress is one of the more ridiculous dresses I’ve seen in a while. I guess it’s just not my style. Maybe it would be okay with leggings, but even the models couldn’t elevate the look.

One thing I love about your blog is seeing new fashions. Whether or not I like them, it’s fun to look. You usually wear things very well, but I notice you did not model for this dress. I don’t even think you could make it look good. 🙂

I really like the Women’s Right Moves Sweat Shirt Dress! It’s nice that it has a defined waist to make it a little more fitted.
