SCOTTEVEST Penny Coat Review

November 28, 2012 By Shelley Zurek 323 Comments

SCOTTEVEST Penny Coat, Great for that Transition into Winter
Scottevest Penny Coat

Scottevest Penny Coat ($200) as worn by the Chief Blonde on Small Business Saturday!
still blondeThe Chief Blonde Remarks: If you have been hanging around here at all, you have heard me go on and on discuss SCOTTEVEST.  We first reviewed the SCOTTEVEST Molly Jacket in June and the SCOTTEVEST Trench was our giveaway for our October Semi-Annual Fashionista Event.

It’s no shock then to say I was ecstatic when the asked me to review their newest coat, the SCOTTEVEST Penny Coat .  Like the Model T Ford, it only comes in black..but that is the only resemblance to anything old fashioned.  This coat is Tech Enabled such that the 14 (yes I SAID 14) pockets can be used to wear all your electronic devices including your iPad!

Here’s some of the Features that I just must rave about:

  • Machine washable (this was a BIG wow for me!)
  • Water and stain resistant
  • Sleeve pocket in the cuff for easy access to Metro Card or IDs
  • Coat looks great (good lines) even with full pockets
  • Quality Zipper  ( very important in a winter coat)
Well to be honest, here’s the feature I like the best.  I look darn cute in the SCOTTEVEST Penny Coat.  Maybe not a good as the company owner, Laura Jordan, but still, it’s a very very flattering coat and warm too!  Women over 45– I highly recommend SCOTTEVEST and the NEW Penny coat!

Watch Laura Jordan, President and Co-Company Owner of SCOTTEVEST (AND a  lovely Woman over 45!) giving the details of the Penny Jacket in this video!  Isn’t she GREAT?

Where to find it?

Buy the Penny Coat at SCOTTEVEST’s website.

UPDATE: The SCOTTEVEST Penny Coat Giveaway is over.  The Rafflecopter entry device has been removed and had 4925 entrants.  See Giveaway Winners!

Being a casual girl who can never have too many pockets, the Ultimate Hoodie Microfleece looks uber comfortable & has lots of places for me to stash essentials.

My favorite is the Molly Jacket first or all it has a cell phone pocket and a lipstick pocket and a lot of other pockets I hate it when a jacket doesn’t have enough pockets and it is really cute I think it would be slimming on!

Really you can not have too many pockets! I love this coat.
My sister and I found a Scott’s Vest at a charity shop. We tried it on and it was a man’s and too big but not big enough for my husband, her son or any of the son-in-laws! We just figured a smallish man passed and his family either did not fit into it or didn’t know what they had, a Scott’s Vest!!!

I like the womens trench coat in thyme. It’s classic, yet functional. Can be dressy or understated, depending on what you’re wearing with it!

LOVE THIS COAT! I want the Penny coat! Of course I would die of heat stroke here in Singapore, but I would be fashionable doing it.
